But these days, anyway, a lot of women do get tattoos and a lot of young men have earrings put in. (Maybe a grandson one day will, if he hasn't already...)

I would prefer something tight to the body

Clasp earrings can hurt after a while; it's in the long run best to get piercings so that a stud, etc., can be fastened tight to the lobe, right?

My hubby wears a ring in one ear. He likes that tough guy image.
