Watched it all. He holds some general truths but also some powerful lies. Evangelical Christianity doesn't come close to 1 billion people. Yeah there are lots of stupid churches out there where the music show seems more important than the Word of God.
But this guy has too much anger in him to be very effective. Before Paul ever railed on teh Galatinas, he spent a lot of time with them teaching and nurturing them. He is basing his opinions on 6 churches he visited and that is not just wrong but has a judgmental spirit. I have been to many many many churches and I know there are awesome churches out there. I am an SBC member and our church does nothing He railed against.
I rail against the same things, but will not air it on a website. You simply do not air family dirty laundry for the world to see. Jesus said that often. He should follow the rules Jesus laid down in Matt. 18 for discipline. He is skipping three steps and going right for teh jugular.
He probably would have crucified Chuck Smith for having hippies and all sorts of rock music in his church.
I am surprised you give this guy tacit approval! He spoke of the authoratative bible as the source of truth as well as Jesus. Just like tens of millions of believers hold to.

Lets hope he has become more gentle and loving sounding instead of the vicious sounding attacks against believers he portrayed in that video.
Jesus told us to speak the truth, but speak in love. He is not speaking in love much.
Sometimes being brash is something to do. Not everything is done in love. Somethings that come at you just knock you over, but they can help in your building up spiritually.
I guess we should have told Jesus to hush down when he went off on the Pharisees.

Jesus is god and can do things He doea not allow us to! Also He was dealing with unbelievers not believers!
Ephesians 4:14-16

14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
This is for believers!
Even Mt. 18:15-17 which can end in disfellowship is for reconciliation and not jamming someone up.
Yes God can use our anger- but if it is not righteous anger down from heaven, it is sin.
God can reach people by his evidences which he has provided, from human life, to the stars, to the trees, to the rivers, canyons and mountains.
I get you have a certain perspective but come on...
Pslams 19:1 proves it to be such. I don't see how anyone can try to get around such an evidence. But carry on as thy wilt @Ronald Nolette.
It's great to know the Lord Yeshua, personally by reading the gospels, but not everyone has access, and not everyone has done the research for themselves.
God knows who are his and those whom are faith are those whom he is pleased with. I give credit to God in being able to reach all people.
Not matter, what others may suggest, as though they aren't able to get to them. God will make a way for them, and has, and that is by and through faith. And thus he is pleased with those who look towards him, and those whom also look towards his Son.
