Excerpts from Great vid
For more than 200 years, Soco argues, Christianity has surrendered its authority over culture, politics and society, retreating into a timid, compromised faith that no longer knows how to defend itself.
“It's not that our Lord's teachings are failing. It's that Christians have been failing to apply our Lord's teachings.”
In a powerful conversation with Elizabeth Farah, Soco calls for nothing less than the restoration of muscular Christianity: a faith that refuses to apologize for its convictions, a church that raises courageous men instead of silencing them, and a Christian civilization willing to defend its identity.
His answer begins with something the modern church has nearly forgotten: the Christian warrior and the ancient code of chivalry. Courage without cruelty. Strength without arrogance. Mercy without weakness. And the willingness to stand against evil, defend the persecuted and put the Kingdom of God above personal comfort.
But Soco also warns that Christianity cannot prevail while Protestants, Catholics and Orthodox Christians remain consumed by their own divisions.
“In the past, it was to turn brutish warriors into gentlemen. Now we must turn gentlemen more into warriors.”
