Now let us examine the actions of paul and silas while in prison .
The Earth shook mightly and the doors were opened .
The jailor had fallen asleep .
Upon his waking up he saw the doors open . He knew he would be beaten and killed for sleeping on duty .

Sadly many in to days church would have said nothing to him and thought if the guy kills himself
we can then escape .
ONLY paul and silas would have no such thing , se eing they desired life for him .
And hollered out for him to do himself no harm for they were all still there .
And boy did that jailor ask him the right question .
And notice steven never picked up stones to throw back at those casting st ones at him
nor did he carry a sword to defend himself against them .
IN fact mr steven actually prayed this sin not be laid against them .
Something has went dead wrong in christendom . And now a delusion
to merge them and the false religions is upon them and they see it as a means to attain peace n safety .
But jack , ITS a delusion and its for their sudden destruction ON the DAY of the LORD .

Unless the rulers are telling you to directly disobey the Lord like they did in Acts when they told the Apostles to not teach in Jesus' Name, then we are to submit to the authority that God setup.

Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme; Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.

In Ephesians 6:5, servants are told to obey their earthly masters with fear and trembling and “as unto Christ.” In Colossians 3:22, servants are told to obey their masters in all things, not only when they are watched.

Do you believe we should pick and choose which verses we want to believe and walk in, or is it OK to reject portions of the bible we don't like and ignore those parts?
