Hi Mark,

I am interested in what the primary significance is to you.

Okay... I still need answers. Are you looking for a doctrinal statement circling round the word 'significance', or, when you say 'to you', do you mean something more personal along the lines of, 'How has being 'in Christ' been revealed to you? Or, changed you? Or, changed the landscape of your life? See what I mean? (Apologies for being a lateral thinker!)

No need to apologize! I'll write more later . . . when I can take more time.

Love in Christ,
Mark

Hi Mark,

I have an idea. Rather than my writing prose, the following two verses capture much of what it means to me personally, to be 'in Christ'. I find the whole 'in Christ'/'Christ in us' paradox quite mindblowing, and am eternally grateful to the apostle John for teasing it out every which way.

Romans 8:15
For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

Hebrews 10:14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
