Luke 21: 34And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. 35For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. A snare, IMHO, is a trap which catches it's victim totally unaware that it is in the trap in the first place. That said, I believe that the Tribulation period will come upon us very subtly. I have doubt that it will begin with a bang and that the main characters will be overly obvious. It probably won’t be front page news and the Anti-Christ probably won’t be the president of the United States. In Yehoshua,Guy Smith
We do have to wait for the revealing, as 2 Thess 2:3-4 tells us. If he has to be revealed then we all have to understand none of us know who he is. We all just love to speculate like we're throwing dice with others, laughing as we go. The seriousness of it when it happens is going to bring many tears. IMHO. Isaiah 25:8 For God will wipe away our tears when the veil is removed and the tribulation is over. VickieSister Vickie, I don't know if you know this or not, but The Old Testament is New Testament concealed, and the New Testament is Old Testament revealed. So since II Thessalonians 2:3-4 is New Testament scriptures, not only we have to search for the rest of the New Testament scriptures, also the Old Testament.Mark 13:23 -
But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things. As this verse indicated. Christ told us who the Anti-Christ, the son of perdition. As God told us everything, we are to search for the answers, because this is "no more" revealing... Even though there is still unfulfilled prophecies to come... God has already reveal what's going to happen in the future. We just have to search for the answers, because Christ Himself knows who THAT man of sin is.
