The prophecy was uttered by Daniel hundreds of years before the time it was fulfilled by A4E, and - as Daniel wrote - the vision was sealed until the latter days of the Seleucid Empire and the time of the end of that empire.Only in your mind, brother. :)
A) Daniel 8:9 And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land.
10 And it waxed great, even to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them.
11 Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary was cast down.
12 And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered.
B) 13 Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?
14 And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.
C) 15 And it came to pass, when I, even I Daniel, had seen the vision, and sought for the meaning, then, behold, there stood before me as the appearance of a man.
16 And I heard a man's voice between the banks of Ulai, which called, and said, Gabriel, make this man to understand the vision.
17 So he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was afraid, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man: for at the time of the end shall be the vision.
D) Daniel 8:23 And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.
24 And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.
25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.
E) 26 And the vision of the evening and the morning which was told is true: wherefore shut thou up the vision; for it shall be for many days.
F) 27 And I Daniel fainted, and was sick certain days; afterward I rose up, and did the king's business; and I was astonished at the vision, but none understood it.
E) only pertains to A) through D), F). And that's an important fact to factor in.
Here are some things we know about E) that are relevant in regards to time markers.
1) for at the time of the end shall be the vision.
2) shut thou up the vision; for it shall be for many days.
What is recorded in A), B), and D), is what a majority of interpreters take to be involving A4E. Their interpretation basically says that during the days of A4E it was the time of the end. Thus contradicting that Daniel 12 plainly shows that the time of the end involve end-times not the days of A4E. These interpreters ignore or simply couldn't care less that Daniel 8:17, 26 and Daniel 12:4, 9, have the following in common, what I have underlined below.
IOW, what I did not submit from Daniel 8, that is because none of those things were reserved for the time of the end. Those events already played out in history ages ago. There is obviously a gap between verse 22 and 23. And after that gap we enter the latter part of their kingdom era, the part reserved for the time of the end. The only thing that makes sense then, we have to also use Daniel ch 7 to help interpret this. It is the 4th beast, the 4th kingdom a little horn arises out of it. Therefore, the logic is, in verse 23 the latter time of their kingdom is meaning the latter time of the 4th beast, the 4th and final kingdom before the 5th kingdom., the everlasting kingdom, is the only kingdom remaining.
Daniel 8:17 So he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was afraid, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man: for at the time of the end shall be the vision
Daniel 8:26 And the vision of the evening and the morning which was told is true: wherefore shut thou up the vision ; for it shall be for many days.
Daniel 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end : many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
Daniel 12:9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end
It is only a coincidence, they will likely argue. There is no connection here, there is nothing to see here. Nothing unusual nor bizarre about there being two different 'time of the end' rather than just one, and that both of these are shut up until that time. Nothing bizarre about that, regardless of the fact the time of the end can't precede the 1st coming to begin with, but let's make an exception in the case of Daniel 8, though.
Not to mention, look at verse 27 in Daniel 8---this---And I Daniel fainted, and was sick certain days--and I was astonished at the vision, but none understood it.
Now imagine you were Daniel and that the vision you saw was simply something A4E was going to do in ancient times pertaining to a literal temple. Then this being Daniel's reaction--and I was astonished at the vision, but none understood it--apparently including him. He couldn't even comprehend anyone going into a literal temple and doing what A4E ultimately did. That this was so far over his head, he was astonished big time, that he fainted, and was sick for certain days, and no one understood the vision, not even him. But why not if it was something A4E was going to do in a literal temple in the near future? But if the vision is involving end-times, and technologies such as AI in the 21st century, thus not literal temples, etc, no wonder he was astonished, and that no one understood the vision.
But until the sounding of the seventh trumpet, even that part of the prophecy that was sealed only until the time of Antiochus IV will remained sealed to you, because you choose not to acknowledge historical facts.
Never mind. In the days of the sounding of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, the mystery of God which He declared to His prophets will be finished - and then everyone will know what the AoD in the holy place was at the time of the end before the return of Christ, and who caused it to be fulfilled,
and everyone will then understand that A4E was the type of it because the 2,300 evenings and mornings and the 1,290 days and 1,335 days were fulfilled during his days, and were associated only with the temporary removal of the daily sacrifices for sins which he brought about during his days.
