It's your religious social club, not mine
He asked you a simple question.

Sanctuary Doctrine:
.
This doctrine posits that Christ is currently ministering in a heavenly sanctuary, a concept derived from the Old Testament tabernacle.
Investigative Judgment:
.
Adventists believe in an investigative judgment that began in 1844, where Christ examines the lives of believers before his second coming.
Prophetic Ministry of Ellen G. White:
.
The church holds Ellen G. White's writings in high regard, viewing her as a prophet whose messages provide guidance and insights into Scripture.

Other Distinctive Beliefs:
.
They also believe in the imminent second coming of Christ, the conditional immortality of the soul, and the Great Controversy theme (the cosmic conflict between good and evil).

Did you read 2 Thess 2? great falling away is not until the antiChrist is on earth and in charge.

The great falling away is FROM SOMETHING., and its related to the Church, the body of Christ.

The Church wont be here when the Anti-Christ shows up........therefore the "falling away"......which some teach is the Rapture.......and that is not the case.....is actually a falling away from Paul's Doctrine........and The Gospel of the Grace of God.

Rev 7
13Then one of the elders addressed me, saying, "Who are these, clothed in white robes, and from where have they come?" 14I said to him, "Sir, you know." And he said to me, "These are the ones coming out of the great tribulation. They have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
15"Therefore they are before the throne of God,and serve him day and night in his temple;and he who sits on the throne will shelter them with his presence.16They shall hunger no more, neither thirst anymore;the sun shall not strike them, nor any scorching heat.17For the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their shepherd, and he will guide them to springs of living water, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes."

“(1) Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, (2) That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. (3) Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; (4) Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.” (2 Thessalonians 2:1-4)

However, in the apocalyptic literature of the Bible we see various mentions of this figure who will appear in the end times as an opponent of God and his Messiah.

Daniel seems to refer to this antichrist figure as "the ruler who will come," who will set up in the temple of God "an abomination that causes desolation" (Daniel 9:26-27).
Jesus warns, "So when you see standing in the holy place 'the abomination that causes desolation,' spoken of through the prophet Daniel," you are to flee (Matthew 24:15).
Paul, in our passage, seems to be referring to this same antichrist figure as "the man of lawlessness," who will set himself up in God's temple, proclaiming himself to be God (2:3-4). Paul insists that this figure has not yet appeared on the world scene (2:7).
John. The Apostle John, writing about 90 AD, notes that while the Antichrist himself had not yet come, his spirit is already in the world in the form of many antichrists (1 John 2:18, 22; 4:3; 2 John 7).
Revelation refers to the antichrist figure as the "beast coming out of the sea" (Revelation 13:1), who acts as a puppet of Satan (13: 4), makes war against Christian believers (13:7), and causes the unbelievers to worship him (13:8), aided by the "false prophet," the "beast out of the earth" (Revelation 13:11-18).

The tribulation saints are, quite simply, saints living during the tribulation. We believe that the church will be raptured before the tribulation, but the Bible indicates that a great number of people during the tribulation will place their faith in Jesus Christ. In his vision of heaven, John sees a vast number of these tribulation saints who have been martyred by the Antichrist: “There before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands” (Revelation 7:9). When John asks who they are, he is told, “These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb” (verse 14).

The tribulation will be a time of great trouble for the wicked, because of God’s judgments. It will also be a time of great persecution for the believers—or saints—because of the Antichrist’s persecution (Revelation 13:7). Daniel saw the Antichrist “waging war against the saints and defeating them” (Daniel 7:21). Of course, the saints’ eternal salvation is secure: Daniel also saw that “the Ancient of Days came and pronounced judgment in favor of the saints of the Most High, and the time came when they possessed the kingdom” (Daniel 7:22; cf. Revelation 14:12–13).

The tribulation saints will hear the gospel from several possible sources. The first is the Bible; there will be many copies of the Bible left in the world, and when God’s judgments begin to fall, many people will likely react by finding a Bible to see if prophecies are being fulfilled. Many of the tribulation saints will also have heard the gospel from the two witnesses (Revelation 11:1–13). The Bible says these two individuals “will prophesy for 1,260 days [three and a half years]” (verse 3) and perform great miracles (verse 6). And then there are the 144,000 Jewish missionaries who are redeemed and sealed by God during the tribulation (Revelation 7:1–8). Immediately following the description of their sealing in Revelation 7, we read of the multitudes of tribulation saints who are saved from every corner of the world (verses 9–17).

The tribulation saints will serve their Lord Jesus Christ in the midst of desperate surroundings. Faithful to the end, many of these believers will die for their faith. But in their death, they overcome; “They overcame [Satan] by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death” (Revelation 12:11). And God will reward them: “He who sits on the throne will spread his tent over them. Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst. The sun will not beat upon them, nor any scorching heat. For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; he will lead them to springs of living water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes” (Revelation 7:15–17).

We praise the Lord that the great day of trouble will also be a great day of grace. Even as God is meting out His just punishment on an unbelieving world, He will be restoring Israel to faith and extending grace to all who believe, both Jew and Gentile. God has always been in the business of saving people, and that salvation will still be available during the tribulation. Don’t wait until then, however; receive Jesus now (John 1:12).

There will indeed be a great worldwide spiritual awakening, a great ingathering of souls, but that will take place after the Church has been raptured home to glory. The Great Tribulation will be a time when the judgments of God are poured out and also when Antichrist will be on the scene, but it will be the greatest soul-saving time ever witnessed by mankind. In the seventh chapter of Revelation we read of the tribulation saints, those saved during that time. There are two groups: 1) The 144,000 who are all Israelites, and 2) an innumerable multitude out of all nations, mainly Gentiles. God has always had a witness. In every age He has had those who have spoken for Him, and the Great Tribulation will be no exception. He will have 144,000 saved, sealed, separated, stalwart witnesses who will proclaim God’s Word and the result of their preaching will be a great multitude, which no man could number, brought to God and washed in the blood of the Lamb

Tribulation saints are the people who will come to faith in Jesus Christ during the tribulation period. According to the premillennial view of the end times, after the rapture will be a seven-year tribulation during which many judgments will come upon the earth. The tribulation will end with the second coming of Jesus to begin the 1,000-year millennial kingdom (Revelation 19:11–16; 20:1–6). Tribulation saints are those who come to faith in Christ during the seven-year tribulation period, following the rapture. During this time, Jews and Gentiles will come to salvation (Revelation 7:1–14; 11:3–12), but many tribulation saints will face martyrdom (Revelation 20:4). The tribulation serves as a period of both judgment and redemption, as God desires that all people come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). However, salvation is available now, and God calls everyone to turn to Christ today for eternal security, not waiting until the tribulation (Acts 16:31; 2 Corinthians 5:20—6:2).
The 144,000 are not the only ones to be saved and kept during the Great Tribulation. We are now introduced to a vast company of Gentiles out of all nations who are also saved during the Tribulation. In the seventh chapter of the Revelation, John says: “After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands. … These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb” (vs. 9,14). These are the sheep nations of Matthew 25. They received the witness of the 144,000 and believed to the saving of their souls. They also received the witnesses and fed them, clothed them, befriended them, and thus will inherit the kingdom. Since these were saved through the preaching of the 144,000 it would be well to consider the message preached by the latter. There is no need to speculate as their preaching was foretold by the Lord Jesus. In Matthew 24:14, He said: “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” What did they preach? The Lord said it would be “the gospel of the kingdom.” It will not be the gospel of the grace of God, which we preach today, but the gospel of the kingdom. When the Church has been removed from this scene by way of the rapture, God’s program will revert to that which was in effect before He brought in the dispensation of grace with the Apostle Paul. The 144,000 will again be preaching the gospel of the kingdom. They will be preaching Jesus as the Son of God and the true Messiah who will be coming soon as King to set up His prophesied kingdom and to reign in righteousness over all the earth.

Certainly the 144,000 will also be preaching Christ and His redemptive work as the Lamb of God which taketh away the sin of the world.

The burden of proof is on SDA to show where Jesus and His Apostles required Christians to observe Saturday "sabbath
I disagree. Modern Christian Sabbath keepers are merely following the example of Christ and the apostles, and the early church. The burden of proof lies with you to show how, where, and why the Sabbath is not the same as it has always been since creation. And prove that any change was made under the authority of Christ, and not an apostate church.

Any burden of proof lies with those who think they can justify a change. Not with those who practise and follow standard procedure.

I almost confused her with Mary Baker Eddy. There is a rumor that she has a phone in her grave.

Her cult followers probably have seances to see if they can get any new teachings :funlaugh2

Your inability to answer cogently reveals, to me at least, that your position is not tenable

I'm waiting on you to show us in the New Testament where Jesus or His Apostles instructed anybody to keep Saturday sabbath

It's not there, and neither is there any mention of any penalty for those not keeping Saturday sabbath. Game over!

Better luck on the next topic bub!

I disagree. Modern Christian Sabbath keepers are merely following the example of Christ and the apostles, and the early church.

Show us in the New Testament where Jesus or His Apostles instructed anybody to keep Saturday sabbath

And do you need the New Testament scripture references where the Apostles were meeting on Sunday, the first day of the week?

They didn't teach you that in Saturday School!

And prove that any change was made under the authority of Christ

Here ya go:

The sabbath was ordained as part of the Mosaic Law in Exodus 20:8-11. Moses served as a high priest (Exodus 28:1) and as a prophet of the Lord, and He was faithful in his calling over his house (the old covenant). There is NO evidence in scripture of Adam and Eave, or Job, or other people in God's Word keeping the sabbath prior to the Mosaic Law which was given to the Jews.

Hebrews 3:5,6
And Moses verily was faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after; But Christ as a Son over His own house; whose house are we, IF we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.

Now, there is a new house, the Body of Jesus Christ! Under the New Covenant that the Lord said would come forth, we see Jesus Christ as the High Priest. The old covenant with it’s laws and regulations have been taken away because thru Jesus Christ a new and better covenant has come in to place.

Hebrews 10:9
Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.

(God said He would make a New Covenant - see Jeremiah 31:31-34)

Hebrews 8:6
But now hath Jesus obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also Jesus is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.

And with the changing of the priesthood, God’s Word tells us there is also a change of the law.

Hebrews 7:12
For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.

Some adherents to keeping Saturday sabbath frequently ask “where did the Lord take Saturday sabbatrh way?”
The answer can be found in Hebrews 10:9 and in Hebrews 7:12.

God’s people are no longer living under the Law of Moses. Now God’s people are living under the Law of Christ (also called the law of liberty, law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus – see Galatians 6:2, 1 Corinthians 9:21, James 2:12, James 1:25, Romans 8:2)

The Law of Christ contains NO command or requirement to keep Saturday sabbath because God has something far better for His people under the New Covenant. Saturday sabbath (and the entire Law of Moses) has been made obsolete by the New Covenant and is of no benefit to those trying to continue in any part of the Law of Moses! (Those claiming Saturday sabbath is still required cannot prove this from the New Testament of the Bible because it’s simply not there and does not teach this) .

Why? Isn't the Ten Commandments in Exodus good enough for you that you need to be constantly reminded of them? Oooh... You do need to be reminded, because God said, Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy. A declaration of holiness that has not been rescinded.
And do you need the New Testament scripture references where the Apostles were meeting on Sunday, the first day of the week?
Oh please. Everyone knows how shallow those references are in defence of Sunday sacredness. There are actually only 3 references you can offer. And none of them say what you want them to say.
And with the changing of the priesthood, God’s Word tells us there is also a change of the law.

Hebrews 7:12
For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law
Yes, indeed. The change in the priesthood required a change in the law. And Hebrews itself explains why. Which you conveniently missed out.

And with the changing of the priesthood, God’s Word tells us there is also a change of the law.

Hebrews 7:12
For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.
Allow me to fill in the missing context. And it has absolutely nothing to do with the Sabbath or any of the commandments of God. It was all about the priesthood.

“11 If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron? 12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law. 13 For he of whom these things are spoken pertaineth to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar. 14 For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood. 15 And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest, 16 Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life. 17 For he testifieth, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. 18 For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof. 19 For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God. 20 And inasmuch as not without an oath he was made priest: 21 (For those priests were made without an oath; but this with an oath by him that said unto him, The Lord sware and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec:) 22 By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament. 23 And they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason of death: 24 But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood. 25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. 26 For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens; 27 Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself. 28 For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore. ”

The rest the Lord gives under the New Covenant is far, far superior to the rest given under the old covenant.

If you don't want to abide in Christ and instead try to get rest by living under the Law of Moses go right ahead - you are fallen from grace.

Oh please. Everyone knows how shallow those references are in defence of Sunday sacredness. There are actually only 3 references you can offer. And none of them say what you want them to say.

None the less, they demonstrate that the Apostles were having meetings on Sunday.

Yes, indeed. The change in the priesthood required a change in the law. And Hebrews itself explains why. Which you conveniently missed out.

What you missed is the old covenant has been done away with by Jesus

And so the SDA continue trying to live under the Law of Moses and are fallen from grace just like the Galatians.

Allow me to fill in the missing context.

I'm not interested in falling from grace like the SDA social club.
Thanks anyway.

Hebrews 10:9 tells us Jesus established a New Covenant and it's obvious the SDA social club rejects Jesus and wants to stick with Moses, so good luck with all that
