I thought I would post this in Angelina's thread, because it made me think of it. But I changed my mind, because hers were inspirational, when this one is funny. Thought it would be more appropriate to separate it. :)

I am speaking this weekned at a youth conference on the subject of "Josiah - The Frustrated Reformed".

Your post was topical!
We live in the “I” generation

We have young people in this room who are worldly and love of the things of this world – for them it’s about “I” – They constantly facebook giving other updates on their lives, they are addicted to technology and it is their god, their idol has taken them from God Ways.

They are constantly connected to I-pad I-phone i-tunes I-pod it’s about my-space face – book and not about seeking God’s Face or God’s Book. Put simply – they are lost, and should Christ return their salvation is lost also. Without true reform, both eternally and internally you will not know God, nor see His Kingdom. Usually we find this group of people to be the "masses" of a nation who endeavour to come before God with the the sin of Hypocrisy in thier heart.

They must be warned!

What I find this picture highlights most of all is not the world, but the kind of Christianity that is rampant today (especially in North America).

This Christianity is one of 'following Christ on twitter', of 'yeah, I got Jesus'. As if accepting him did anything, when in fact he accepts US if we follow him faithfully. It is a christianity full of decisions and empty of discipleship.

Yes, at the same time Jesus says that, he also says to the church that they think they are rich, but are not.

He also says he will spew them out of his mouth. Serious stuff!
