Good Morning from Aruba

Well... Not yet. I am staying a couple of nights in Daytona Beach until I pick up a cruise in cocoa beach. Daytona Beach is my favorite beach as I like the quality of sand and how they have such a large spread out beach with plenty to do. The sunset this morning was terrific!

Staying and an EconoLodge on the beach for $59 a night. I was amazed to find that it came with a nice breakfast, a terrific view of the beach, a swimming pool and a jacuzzi!

I might harbor a tinge of jealousy in my soul. We got back Tuesday from the beach. I could live there. ;)

I'll take it you meant sunrise, not sunset.

When in Aruba go to The West Deck on LG Smith Blvd near Governor's Bay. Good food and prices.

Do not go to Carpe Diem, poncy food for far too much price.

Good morning aboard the Carnival Sunshine me maytees. Pictured is me as the morning sun comes streaming through my window. I got a balcony and love to sleep with the door open to hear the sea noises through the door. The food is great and just a terrific ship to be aboard.

The ones I liked best were Baby and Arashi. Hadicurari is good too when not busy.

Most will go to Eagle or Palm; for me that is a signal to avoid it.

Remember no matter what bring only essentials and the barest amount of cash possible when going.

Kindred souls we are. I've found that I liked traveling to places like Denver, Baltimore, and others, but I live in a state with both beaches and mountains, so I pretty much don't have to exit its borders if I don't want to. I am working up the courage to go to Europe and perhaps the Caribbean at some point.

By the way, Rocky, it's nice to put a face to the name! :)

Last day at sea! I loved and enjoyed every moment of this vacation. I normally go on two cruised during the year (all 8-10 day cruises)...

1. Spring - Caribbean with Carnival
2. Fall - South Pacific (The French Polynesia) with Princess

there are many more photo-ops in the South Pacific. I had my Nook loaded with good reading material. The food and people aboard ship were great! I do not look forward to the debarktation in the morning!

Wow...sounds like you got it made Rocky lol.......here I am in the jungles of Asia, with mud up to my armpits sometimes...Muslim and RC are big here..trying to Bible teach to the locals...language a barrier, but most are understanding....so will keep on trucking along....but will sometimes dream of that Carribean vacation...

Don't forget about us here in coastal Queensland. Beautiful beaches, lots of sunshine, and delightful winter weather - although an Antarctic chill is coming in the next couple of days. The fishing is not bad either!
