All of the ground work is there in scripture for understanding God producing children all by himself. He needed no other to birth you, you came into this world with one father and now you can have another father scripture says. It is all right there written in plain black and white english. The ground work is laid - no other foundation can be laid it is right there.
Ground work like; Jesus says "you must be born again." What is he saying? He is saying our natural birth didn't work, it does not work and you must be born again. You were robbed - you were taken over. That creation in the image and likeness of God has been distorted by another life and you absolutely must get another life or you are dead in sin and trespasses with no hope no life no real father just a task master that has taken Adam and turned it all upside down. That is the ground work laid for the knowing of what God is doing - look at the ground work.
He spent thousands of years teaching us showing us what happened in the beginning is not his ultimate plan and if you are going to know that you must read and accept the ground work laid by God and him alone. I know I'm hard on being doers to please but if you look at the ground work you realize if there was something man could do it would have already been done because of the ground work of the Old Testiment has proven that without a shadow of dought.
When you read the scriptures look at the ground work - search it - read it for the ground work like your life depends on it because it does. It's all there written perfectly. I don't want to get into the Thoughts people have of scripture maybe contradicting itself like we could know. We should know enough if we don't understand something then go to something else don't just assume it may be a problem - you have had it at that point as far as understanding scripture.
Don't be foolish and not read scripture like it is written and if you don't understand something ask for understanding and wait and move to something else until you get understanding on it - don't assume. Try it you might like it - reading just the way it is written. I understand all the arguments on man penning scripture but if the Lord can speak through a donkey he can reach you through a written book we so cherish called the word of God.
