Shalom, daq.
That is VERY misleading and, frankly, WRONG! 1 Corinthians 15:35-38 certainly DOES speak of the physical death! Are you trying to say that Yeshua` haMashiach (Jesus the Christ) did not physically die?! And yet, our death in this resurrection chapter is likened to HIS! He's talking here about a LITERAL, PHYSICAL RESURRECTION BODY! Paul is not talking "spiritually"; he has made a quite eloquent treatise in this chapter on the reality of the resurrection!daq said:Unless one dies to self the same abides alone and does not bear the fruit of the kingdom of heaven:
John 12:24-26 KJV
24. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.
25. He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.
26. If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.
1 Corinthians 15:35-38 KJV
35. But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?
36. Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:
37. And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:
38. But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.
Therefore it does not speak of the physical death, of the physical body, at the end of what the natural man calls "life" ... :)
