…I am warning about calling the mother of Yeshua a demon.

Post where i stated that the Mother of Yeshua is a "demon"

See, you lied again, @Grailhunter .... as i never posted anything that suggest this.......and never will.

I stated factually.... that you implied that if the Actual Christians on this Forum, do not accept that Catholic "visions of Mary" are true, then that might just determine their "damnation" after they die.
That's what you told us.
So, this that you stated... and i would say its not only a "stupid" point of view, and it is......but its incredibly "bizarre thinking" also ....but its more then that.......its the proof of a carnal mindset regarding a pompous religious pretender, being revealed again on this Forum... who is trying to be some type of final authority, and your "proof text is "vision of Mary".

Pathetic.

You have been hiding in cave while I've been working the streets. I talked to hundreds of Catholics all over. I know what I'm talking about, you can go "nope" all you want to you hearts content, but I've seen it and talked to all Catholics and all religions and researched them all.
Hundreds? Out of 1.3 billion?
You researched ALL religions?

Please don't refer to the Catholic religion as a "cult".

Take Mary out of the " Catholic church" and it ends.
So, that's a cult.

That is like the Mormons, and "the book of Mormon" and their angel "Moroni".
Take this away, and their cult ends.

Personally, I don't believe that the members of this forum...are necessarily "Theologically informed" about Catholic Theology.

I am familar with it.

So did you want to talk about the Catholic Doctrine regarding collecting dead body parts ? "Relics"

Or maybe....... "the ascension of mary in her physically dead body'/ ?

How about "mary as co-author of Salvation" or 'Mediatrix". ?

"baptismal regeneration" ?

"transubstantiation" ?

"infant water baptism"?

"penance"?

the "mystical" powers of Priests?

Just let me know what part of this cult's teaching that you want to discuss....that isn't found in the NT, and that is most of it.....and we can have a coversation, or someone will.

WHY the RCC believes what it believes.

The RCC believes what it believes because its belief system, is not based on the NT......its based on the writings of "church fathers", who created a lot of religious science fiction, including the EXTREME veneration of Mary "MOG".

Eh. I don't completely agree, but I see where you're coming from.

That's not "Doctrine"; that's Tradition! No different that keeping a vase of ashes of "Aunt Betty" on the mantle.

"Catholics venerate relics—such as bones, hair, or clothes of saints—as a practice rooted in biblical tradition and Church history. These physical items are seen as connections to holy individuals who lived lives of exemplary faith."

Or maybe....... "the ascension of mary in her physically dead body'/ ?

Would all be kind of hard to discuss without completely derailing this thread. Besides, by the time I finished researching all of those talking points, the Rapture would have probably already taken place. :Laughingoutloud:

No, it's belief system is based on the NT...AND the OT (that is, before any books were removed)...AND the writings of the church father's...AND the writings of Saints...AND...the list goes on.

The veneration of Mary as a tradition has been traced back to the first centuries of the church.

I believe it was in the 1960's (which Vatican council? Again, I'm too lazy right now to look it up, lol!) that recognized that Mary was being a little TOO 'venerated'...and discouraged priests from including her in the Mass. Not all priests adhered to the new 'policy' (especially the Old School ones). One of our older priests once recited the Hail Mary during Mass and my mom almost had a conniption! She stayed silent.

Catholic "Relics" are not ashes of the dead........they are literal body parts, in many cases.
Organs.......skin.......and more.
There is a huge collection of dead body parts, in the Vatican.

"body parts'..........

Understand?

No CHRISTIAN is going to keep a body part of their deceased relative......

Would all be kind of hard to discuss without completely derailing this thread. Besides, by the time I finished researching all of those talking points, the Rapture would have probably already taken place. :Laughingoutloud:

It does not matter what you do with the info, as you are lost in Catholic Cult Tradition.
So, im writing to you, for the benefit of some of these Members, who had NO IDEA what your cult teaches, and does, and worships, and proclaims.

No, it's belief system is based on the NT...AND the OT (that is, before any books were removed)...AND the writings of the church father's...AND the writings of Saints...AND...the list goes on.

The true understanding of how the bible is viewd by the cult of mary, is simple.
It teaches that the bible is "incomplete" and so, the Cathoic leadership......adds to the bible, whatever they dream up next about Mary, for example to "complete it".

There is nothing in a NT, written by Paul or Peter, or James, or any apostle..... that elevates Mary to the position of authority that you find as "cult of mary" doctrine.
The Gospel says....>"Mary is blessed among women" and the "cult of Mary" redefined this as Blessed above them, as "co-author" of Salvation.
You will never find an Apostle "praying to mary" or "praying to a saint" or even suggesting it, as this is all man made "cult of mary" religious nonsense.

Christianity adopted new beliefs, like a requirement for wedding ceremonies and the moratoriums of polygamy and concubinage and slavery all occurred centuries after the biblical era and they are still learning things about women’s rights.

No requirement for a wedding ceremony to be married in the scriptures. And no moratoriums on polygamy and concubinage and slavery. Their fathers would be selling their daughter’s into sexual slavery.
These are some pretty concerning things you are posting there.... Polygamy, concubines? Seriously....... What about Romans 7:3?

Mary was in reality, a 14 yr old Jewish Girl........whom God graced as the Mother of Jesus.
This obvioulsy makes her special......but at the same time, she was a sinner needing the Gift of Salvation, that Jesus provides to everyone from The Cross., ... one believer at a time.

I get the impression that it has. They are very defensive about questioning Catholic doctrine.
I can't say for sure, but there seems to be a movement of the Holy Spirit around the world, and many new Christians are choosing Orthodox religions, such as Catholicism, as their faith. Many people are seeking reliable sources of truth, and assume that Orthodox churches are a good place to start. Ultimately, I trust that the Holy Spirit will lead them where they need to be.

Actually, you dont choose "orthodox religions" as your "faith".

You Choose to believe in Jesus, as your Faith.

So, when a person chooses the "cult of mary" or "the baptist church" or "the mormon church".....they are choosing a Denomination, not a "faith".

I am almost scared to ask....What does Romans 7:3 have to do with this?

See the thing is, there are some absolutes….
As far as polygamy and concubinage….The scriptures never puts a moratorium on polygamy or concubinage……Christians practiced polygamy and concubinage for several centuries after the biblical era. The history gets a little deep on this.
Even Martin Luther said he could not condemn polygamy because the scriptures did not condemn it.
On the other hand I am not saying it was common.....

Even Martin Luther said he could not condemn polygamy because the scriptures did not condemn it.

Some of Luther's revelations came from the Holy Spirit, and some of them never did.
So, when using Luther to teach "justification by faith".......then that is accurate.
But when using Luther to try to prove that a Christian can have 40 wives, then just dont.

Luther also died believing and teching.....

"infant water baptism"......exactly as the "cult of mary" teaches that it brings eternal Salvation to the baby.

Im not being a "troll" when i quote your own post that foolishly implied that the Mods here, or any member, who does not view "Mary sightings" as stated by CATHOLICS.... are authentic and of God,....... = could very well end up "damned" in eternity. @Grailhunter

Did you want to restate that epic piece of insanity, or would you rather that you had never posted anything that crazy?

He was just noting that the scriptures never put a moratorium on polygamy or concubinage. He was not suggesting that people should do it. This is no secret, any biblical scholar or theologian knows this. And this is one of the down sides of being a Theologian….I deal with facts and truths and truths are good put as it goes sooner or later the truth will step on someone’s toes.

And the scriptures never tell us to drive a Tesla, vs a Honda.

Paul said that the apostle can have a wife with them......because that is understood as a marriage.

The Bible defines marriage as man and wife.......not man and wives., as you are trying to pretend.

He was not suggesting that people should do it. This is no secret, any biblical scholar or theologian knows this.

He is simply showing that he doesn't have an answer for this question.
Nothing more.

No "theologian" would say that members on this forum, could be damned later on if they dont accept the Catholics claims regarding "visions of mary".
Now, a person who needs some professional help is certainly spotlighed by such a strange and carnal post.
And by professional help, i dont mean that one should seek guidence from a "cult of mary" priest, and that will just deepen the problem.

Sure.

As a real Theologian, knows that its Christ Rejection, not "visions of mary" rejection" is what damns the unbeliever.

You've proven that you don't understand this.... @Grailhunter

I guess when you are wrong you are wrong big time......stop saying crazy things or I am going to put you on ignore…..
The Bible is full of wives…..the Mosaic Law regulated polygamy and concubinage and God took credit for King David’s wives. And Paul said if you are going to be a church leader you could only have one wife.
