Having A Bit Of An Unusual Problem

That is causing me to doubt myself and God a bit and I really don't want to either. For those of you who don't already know I can hear the voice of God,.. but sometimes (like today) He isn't really specific and He keeps telling me repeaditly about a family member of a friend (nobody specific, no names and I can only speculate who He might possibly be talking about here as so far the only thing given was the pronoun "she") who was pregnant with two boys and they are now safe with Him but he keeps acting like I'm crazy and making it up and I'm starting to wonder if I'm crazy too.

We have to be careful because God does communicate with us but if we start looking for things, you might start hearing things that aren't from God at all.

This happened to me in the beginning and it was very confusing for me, too. God gives a word and Satan tries to take it away, or tries to make us doubt that God really cares for us. I've learned to leave it alone and wait on him. If he has something he wants to say or so, he will do it. But if you look for it, you don't want to set up a trap for yourself.

"Be alert, be on watch! Your enemy, the Devil, roams around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour."

He can attack our thoughts, too. And if they're answering questions in your mind, remember it's not hard for something to respond to a question they were putting in your head in the first place.

If you're going to use the gifts of the spirit, you'll have to make sure you have your full armor (ephesians) on!

I think some things are given to pray about...not always to speak...Then if someone says something to trigger the word of knowledge/wisdom, it would be helpful to be given.

Yeah, I used to have that issue but this came totally unforced and I know what His voice sounds like. I'm obviously missing something and the devil is taking advantage of that and using it against me so in that way, I obviously know that he's involved.

Watch this if you get time, because it sounds like you're in the middle of spiritual warfare... And you might have to purge some things out of your life like I did. But this really helped me. Prophecy comes with being certain. You will know what you know what you know, it comes with tests of faith and endurance sometimes. It always glorifies God and proves the Word as truth.

Discernment sometimes comes through experience and you have to operate by the spirit with faith and not by the flesh. That doesn't mean you won't fall under attack, but you'll know the difference by the spirit.

You need to ask God to be specific and he will be if he wants you to do or say something.

Watch this if you get time, because it sounds like you're in the middle of spiritual warfare... And you might have to purge some things out of your life like I did. But this really helped me. Prophecy comes with being certain. You will know what you know what you know, it comes with tests of faith and endurance sometimes. It always glorifies God and proves the Word as truth.

Okay, does he have this spiritual gift too? I only developed it a few years ago after something happened that I'm afraid to talk about publicly as in fear of being judged for it. I've come to the conclusion that God might be testing my faith at times like these.

You need to ask God to be specific and he will be if he wants you to do or say something.

The only things that are clear right now is for me to just calm down, relax, have faith in Him and trust in Him and everything will be alright in the end and work out for the better, just put aside my doubt and trust Him.

Yes, and he's very good! But he does teach about spiritual warfare and discernment, etc. And he's not boring! LOL

He is very interesting and fun to listen to. even my ADHD Brain gets sucked in.

Btw, God told me today that He speaks to me because despite the doubt in my mind, I have complete and utter trust and love for Him in my heart and in the end I'm one of His best friends and He loves talking to me and that's all that matters to Him. He also affectionately calls me Baby Girl and Kiddo. :)

The only things that are clear right now is for me to just calm down, relax, have faith in Him and trust in Him and everything will be alright in the end and work out for the better, just put aside my doubt and trust Him.

Yes just ask who it is and what he wants you to do and then like you say just trust him even though it may take a while for God to make it clear to you.

He won't tell me who it is because the answer will soon reveal itself and all I have to do is be patient. :) I'll watch the video as soon as I can.

We have to go through tests of faith because that puts the roots in us. The whole chapter of Hebrews 11 teaches on faith in times and situations where it looked foolish or impossible. What would be the point if it wasn't? What do we learn if it's just handed over? Pretty much nothing.

God rewards those who have faith and trust in Him. Period. As long as you're putting faith and obedience to his word, you can trust that he will take you to this direction or that direction. Sometimes I've ended up in places I didn't even know I'd end up. It took 7 years for a person that I knew about, but never met, to accidentally find me on social media and I had no idea how that would happen. (BTW I had that account for a couple of years and had JUST started using it.)

Now I am sitting around again, but if God can do it once, he can do it twice. Do I have to know everything? No. Does it look impossible? Yeah. That's the point. "For we walk by faith and not by sight..."

You know these tests will build you up if you have confidence and trust that he knows what he's doing.

He's been nothing but kind, gentle, loving, nuturing, and soothing towards me ever since I developed a personal relationship with Him. Hence why I started writing the Rock God series to show His true self. :) He's also really goofy at times too lol and He just told me it takes a goofball to know one.

No it'll be Him,.. just not in the way I expect or something I don't know. I don't completely understand it myself lol I honestly wish I did though.

Oh and amen to that though. You and I both have been given special gifts though so obviously He chose us for a reason. We're spiritual Doctor Dolittles except we talk with God and not animals.
