amidst all the clatter and clamour to how right I am....to my sermon.....to my gifts of giving other people direction and my unmatched unsolicited advice.....and you'll take the straightest and surest path to the the heavenly glories and if you're lucky you might get to be one of the 144000!

I have studied long and hard.....the Greek and Hebrew manuscripts; you know, the ones found in some cave somewhere of very ancient origin....yada yada yada! :cool:

Haha, I just shared some of my beliefs with another on a different forum.

The way, I see it quietthinker is that all people are responsible for their individual walk with God.

All spiritual rewards will be meted out to all believers - at the day of death, given their spiritual body that is by God.

There are many different glories, and some will be different than others however will be given in respect to God and his Character.

I believe as we live and walk today everyone is responsible to God alone -> No one can say that a person will have a better spiritual body than another it is all measured out by ones faith, and how they choose to Love God, and how they choose to love others.

I honestly don't care about being one of the 144000, I don't care about any honor or treasure given to me in heaven or any reward i might have earned the heart of the Lord is my only goal the rest is nothing compared to that.
Besides i don't see why the hype of the 144,000 even is a thing I mean unless you are of Jewish blood doesn't that mean you won't be one of them anyways?

That is something that will happen either way, though Cross8527; and it is all in willingness to Serve God from your own heart, it is not about the rewards though however that is a promise that will be happening to all believers who make the choice to follow Christ, loving God first, and loving others.

That would be something that needs to be taught and it sometimes actually goes without being taught in most cases.

Yes i suppose that is true but there is something to be said for those few who would chase after something like his heart more than anything i love hearing the passion others have for him that zeal and hunger for him it brings such joy to my heart to hear of such things these are the children who know what is best and divine and will be rewarded with the greatest honor

I also want to say that this forum has been a true blessing to me so far the other forum i go to is quite dead unless your into heated debates with no end in sight which i am all for to a point i don't mind a little debate here and there but unless you love heated debates it is quite dead

I'm horrible at remembering scripture in full, but certain keywords will come up, I guess reminded by the Holy Spirit... These verses came to mind from Corinthians 13 while reading this thread so far:

If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. 3 If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

I’m glad that you are enjoying your time here and hopefully it will continue to be helpful when you stop by sometimes. Heated debates or debating in general is hard to avoid and it becomes like sounding (@Venksta mentions) clashes of cymbals that are really loud and can become obnoxious. I catch myself doing some times though.
