The idea by Christians that God created some form of natural paradise out of all heaven and earth, that was ruined by man sinning, is false. That would appear to be the case in Genesis 1, however, that is debunked when God told man and woman to subdue it.
That subduing command is that of forced subjection by will and power.
And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.
The command to eat herbs and fruit as meat, was to man and woman only. But for the rest of the living creatures, the herbs were only made available. All creatures were made after their kind and according to their food by God from the beginning, and man is the only meat eater than can live on herbs alone.
And so, the meat eaters ate meat, especially the fish, and all things natural made by God grew and died naturally, whether celestial or terrestrial: the only immortality on earth was the spirit and soul of man and woman in natural bodies made of dust, as well as Christ when He made all things on the earth and walked in the garden to fellowship with man.
In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.
The Lord is speaking of the same natural bodies of men and women, that we have today, which naturally return to the dust from which they were made like all living creatures. The Lord spoke to them as though they were bodies only, for they had made themselves spiritually dead as all natural man, that receives not the things of the Spirit.
The heaven and the earth was in natural full swing from the beginning as it is today. The only time the lion will lay down with the Lamb, is when the 2nd Adam does subdue the earth as the 1st Adam was commanded to do and failed. The Lord will begin that subduction by wiping out all the goats of hateful and wicked men and women.
The only change in heaven and earth by the sin of man, is that man did not subdue the earth and all creatures as commanded benevolently.
