Genesis 1:

28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”
Ecclesiastes 3:

13 And people should eat and drink and enjoy the fruits of their labor, for these are gifts from God.
From humans' perspective, God created humans to enjoy the world.

From God's perspective, Colossians 1:

16 All things were created by him and for him.
Isaiah 43:

7 everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made.”
Psalm 100:

3 Know that the LORD is God. It is He who made us, and we are His; we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture.
Ephesians 2:

10 For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works
To do good works is to have faith in God.

God created humans to be his faithful people to do good works for his glory and to enjoy him and one another, as well as his created world.

Maybe God had created a paradise and wanted to share it with others.

God gave His reason for creating humans in the beginning by creating man in His own image, saying, "the man should not be alone." Which was not fully elaborated or clear until the idea of a Bride and Groom and the marriage of Christ with the Church was said to be "as Christ is head of the church" coupled with "the two shall be come one."

So the whole word from God shows (by the "image" He created) man (His body) coming out of Him, multiplying, and then returning to become One again with Him...that He should not be alone.

Since Jesus is omniscient He knows everything that will ever happen. He always did. He made EVERYTHING and EVERYONE exactly as He chose to do. He is in total control. He allowed evil, LOTS of evil.

Daniel 4
35 All the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing; He does according to His will in the army of heaven And among the inhabitants of the earth. No one can restrain His hand Or say to Him, "What have You done?"

Moral of the story? Don't question God for what He has allowed or done. He gave us all we need to know in the Bible. He hardened Pharaoh's heart to destroy Pharaoh. Don't question God!

Why did God create humans?

Rev 4:
[11] Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

Glory to God,

From the Westminster Shorter Catechism:

Q1. What is Man's primary purpose?
Man's primary purpose is to glorify God, and to enjoy Him forever.

Now get to it, people!
