[14] The >> secret << of the LORD (Jesus) is with the individuals who fear (respect) him
and he (Jesus) will >> reveal to them his covenant.

The person who does not know the secret has erred
and has not accepted the Apostles, as the GOD and Christ ordained, N.T. Ministers.
Therefore that person has not baptized calling on the same LORD Jesus who has the secret.
I was a victim also but I did what I had to do and Jesus helped me.
Grace is multiple and great.
Christianity is not waiting to go to heaven.
The joyful life unfolds, after baptism, like is written by the GOD accompanied Apostles.

Next in the cards is as follows:
Isa.60
[14] The sons of them (Israelites and Gentiles)
who afflicted you shall come bending/ submissive to you (Apostles)
and all who despised you (Apostles)
shall bow themselves down at the soles of your feet (= submit to the Doctrine)
and they shall call you (Apostles):The city of the LORD (Jesus).
They shall call you: The Zion (dwelling) of the Holy One of Israel (the Father and Son)
[15] Whereas you (Apostles) have been >> forsaken and >> hated,
so that no man went through you (>> to Jesus and baptism >> to GOD and the heavenly blessings)
I (GOD) will make you (Apostles) an >> eternal excellence (to people and their seed who obey you)
I (GOD) will make you (Apostles) a joy for many generations (who obey you)
[16] You shall suck the milk (the Word of GOD), of/ for the Gentiles
and you shall suck the breast of kings (the Prophets like Isaiah, for the Word of GOD)
and you (Apostles) shall know that:
I (Jesus) the LORD (from heaven, the Son of GOD) am your Savior.
I am your Redeemer and I am the Mighty One of Jacob. (the God of the nation of Israel.

The LORD Jesus has taught us to call on him from >> under the water for forgiveness and grace.
When not done, as ordained, there is no response.
The LORD confirms his Word and not what we say or think.

Previously Sin reigned to death because of Adam
but at present Grace reigns to New energy and vitality (abundant life), after baptism,
because of Jesus.
Be submissive to the little starter rules, like baptism calling on Jesus,
and obtain more than you anticipate.
When Jesus is called from >> under the water << he responds immediately.

My friend who has experienced the happiness, from above,
has correctly said that “any other way and all you do is get wet.”

Grace to all. :)

You talk in riddle-speak and mumbo-jumbo.

If you were trying to make a point , it remains a secret , at least to me.

Why not just talk normal and make your point ??

Luke 8:16-17.

Jesus never hide the truth from those who sought out the truth. Only Gnosticism teaches a secret knowledge.

Matt.13
[10] And the disciples came, and said unto him
Why speakest thou unto them in parables?
[11] He answered and said unto them,
Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven,
but to them it is >> not given.

Do you think that the Jesus above was a Gnostic?... :)
Would you have recommemded killing him?

I had to work at it also...

I think many have been. I know a few that succumbed to peer pressure and did it in a private and secluded house pool. I guess if its in public before the church, they would not do it. Good acid test.

:) I forgot to put ''get wet'' in inverted commas as the post I was replying to referred to merely ''getting wet'' if we don't speak underwater. Which isn't that bad as it refers to having our hearts in it.

We are private seekers.
We knocked and went step by step as we learnt.
Jesus comes after a certain point then revelations overflow.
We have been tricked b the best, in baptism.
Jesus responsd everytime to someone who complies.

Grace is great ...
We accept on Our Father's simple terms.
Read and folloe the Apostles..

Some helpful info...
Time Magazine, Dec. 5, 1955: Record of a True Baptism in Rome 100 A.D.

"The deacon raised his hand, and Publius Decius stepped through the baptistery door.
Standing waist-deep in the pool was Marcus Vasca the wood seller.
He was smiling as Publius waded into the pool beside him.
'Credis?' he asked.
Credo' responded Publius.
'I believe that my salvation comes from Jesus the Christ, who was crucified under Pontius Pilate.
With Him I died that with Him I may have Eternal Life.'
Then he felt strong arms supporting him as he let himself fall backward into the pool,
and heard Marcus' voice in his ear,
'I baptize you in the Name of the Lord Jesus'
as the cold water closed over (buried) him."
***
The above Baptism conforms to the Scripture cited, below, from our Spirit filled brother James:
The baptizer called upon/ over the candidate the 'name of the LORD Jesus, our Savior.'
Calling on the name of the LORD can be found throughout the ’Israelite/ Jewish Scriptures.’
To call God by his name and to get his attention was always the beneficial Israelite custom.
If we want to join the Israelite ‘religion’ then we must follow their simple teachings.
***
Acts.15
[13] After they had held their peace
James answered saying:
Men and brethren, hearken to me >> (a Spirit filled brother)
[14] Simeon has declared how, GOD at first, visited the Gentiles,
to take out of them a people for, (to promote), his name. >> (the loving God and Father)
[15] Peter’s account agrees (fulfills) the Words (predictions) of the Prophets >> (our true Fathers),
as it is written:
[16] After this I (Jesus the Mighty God) will return (to you Israel),
and I (Jesus) will rebuild the Tabernacle of David >> (= GOD in man, by his Spirit),
this is/ has fallen down >> (discarded by the Israelites/ Jews).
and I (Jesus) will rebuild the ruins thereof,
and I (Jesus) will set it >> (the GOD in man Tabernacle), up.
[17] So that the residue (remnant) of (God fearing) men, >> (the Apostles and converts),
might seek after the LORD (the Father),
and all of the Gentiles, << upon whom my name (Jesus) is called >> (by the baptizer),
saith the LORD (Jesus),
who does all, (of the restoration of), these >> (GOD and Father pleasing) things.
[18] Known to GOD (the Highest, the wise and good Father),
are all of his works (plans and executions of plans, for the good of respectful. GOD fearing man)
from since the beginning of the world >> (the beginning of the nation of Israel, since they left Egypt.)
***
In the process, the candidate also calls on our LORD Jesus, >> while under the water <<
Our brother Paul, the candidate, was instructed to call on Jesus our (Israelite) LORD.
Remember this is ALL Israelite/ Jewish and they know how baptism was/ is done.
Peter showed that the new, calling on Jesus, baptism has a twist.
Gentiles must learn from the ones who still know. We cannot assume.
However, this reported process is authentic and is humbly God taught to the Apostles,
for our common edification and success with above.
It will prove itself.

SHOCKING Info...
***
The Catholic Encyclopedia, II, page 263:
"The baptismal formula was changed from the name of Jesus Christ

That sounds funny but I do not know what people teach eachother.
One day you should tell me about it.
I spent a long time trying to connect with Jesus and I only follow what he shows me.
He is with his sheep.

2 John.1
[9] Whosoever transgresses (SINS), and abideth not in the Doctrine of Christ,
does not have GOD. (but only imagination)
He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, has both (TWO) the Father and the Son.
[10] If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine,
receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:
[11] For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of (accomplice to) his evil deeds.

Do the baptsm correctly.
You will love your NEW life... :)

wordsponge,

What you say is not a parable, it is very plain. It is not hidden, just has not been revealed to all.

Why be pretentious, sometimes people need others to explain things to them, doesn't mean they are not meant to know, I grow tired of that sort of rubbish, people who raise themselves above others.

there are different members in the body of Christ and we are to help each other out, people who think their somehow more clued up then others are useless to God, the word is dead in them.

If this guy wants to be candid in the way he explains a simple point hes just as self exalting as the Pharisees of old. of no use at all end of story.

God does not show favoritism. humility is the key to understanding.

I asked Christ to come in to my life under very desperate circumstances, almost like Jonah crying out from the belly of the whale.
That night my heart was filled to bursting and I felt compelled to be baptised as soon as possible, it weigh heavily on my heart to have it done. since then my walk has been supernatural and my knowledge of things I could never understand in my own flesh has increased and does every day, I never take it for granted and I never claim it as my own. But I have been allowed to carry it with me despite all my faults.
His grace and mercy abounds and fills every corner of my being. I am engulfed in his Spirit and I struggle with everything else outside of it.

i love explaining the word to those with ears to hear it and its somthing God allows me to do. I will never think I am better then another man.
What good would I be if I spoke like this fellow to my brothers?
Thats the religion of men and serves only to alienate.

I rejoice with your desire to walk with God. But have posted many very clear scriptures on subjects and yet most will not hear. That may be because one needs to see it for themselves.

If you have access to bible on your computer, do word searches to gain info. For example, do a word search on 'gift' and read those scriptures. Then do a word search on 'gifts' (plural) and note the differences.

If you have not downloaded a bible to your computer, you might try 'Sword' it is free and google will give a webpage for download.
