Signs wonders etc today

In the days of John, Peter, James etc the Apostles raised the dead, healed the sick, drank deadly poison without effect, spoke in tongues that others understood, bitten by lethal snakes without harm then at some point lost those gifts where even Paul was no longer able to heal Timothy, Paul himself taught that those gifts would cease and indeed they did.
Today we have people who claim to have special gifts, people like Sect leader Samuel Bateman https://www.netflix.com/au/title/81758532 claimed to be a prophet, spoke to GOD, had visions etc etc and is currently serving life for crimes he committed while being said prophet.
Many people believe that signs & wonders from GOD continue today.
There was & is people who have visions but how do we know it's from GOD and not something else ?

Only in the NT then later even Paul was unable to heal Timothy.
So if you can't eat poison, survive lethal snake bites, raise the dead, heal the lame, speak in tongues understandable by others you aren't an apostle.

Yes. I've personally haven't heard of people start talking....but I have heard of people with bent crippled legs walk. (and other miracles)

It seems as if the miracles are typically seen in third world countries...

In America and other developed countries (the west) miracles don't happen too often because we're told miracles ceased.

What do you need for it to be confirmed?
I've heard the witness of christians who have seen them happen...are all of the lying?

I googled AI...is there any documented cases of people with cancerous tumors that have been prayed for and the tumors no longer exist in their bodies?

I heard of a prayer healing just today in Church (with many witnesses).

A young couple in the church were to have a baby, it was diagnosed in the womb as having serious pending defects and at minimum would be born blind, at the number one hospital in the state (in Portland, OR). The family, friends, and church prayed. The same results and findings were confirmed as the birth date approached, but the parents remained hopeful. The hospital recommended aborting the child and if they intend on going full term, a C section. The expecting young mother, say "No! Our baby will be fine, and born the normal way!" And they changed doctors and had the child locally at a much smaller hospital--born completely normal!​

Surely miracles are signs from God, and they are happening all the time, all around us--why even the sun coming up or your next breath is all that!

As for the Jesus or apostle-like miracles--Jesus explained why they occurred then, saying, "But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins”. But He also said regarding what would occur in the future, "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father." Which indicates that those kinds of miracles would continue--based on faith--and even "greater works" were to come. "Greater works!"

What then could possibly be "greater" than those worldly, physical miracles? Did Jesus not even ask "Which is greater?" referring to worldly things compared with--with what? With spiritual or heavenly things! But they are like the wind and not seen or fully realized in this world--for they are heavenly! Have faith!

If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things? John 3:12​

Near the end of his ministry, and after he last saw Timothy, Paul was used by God to perform miracles on the island of Malta (Melita) ... possibly the largest number at any one time

It happened that the father of Publius lay sick with fever and dysentery. And Paul visited him and prayed, and putting his hands on him, healed him. And when this had taken place, the rest of the people on the island who had diseases also came and were cured. (Acts 28:8)​

It was also while he was there that Paul was bitten by a snake which they all expected to kill him.

There are miracles happening today (even raising the dead) but people are very skeptical ... and I can't blame them because there is so much fraud & deceit.

No one should deliberately tempt God by jumping off a building (Mat 4:5-7) or by handling snakes or drinking poison.

Signs and wonders have not yet ceased, it just depends on who they are from...

When the coming false-Messiah arrives at the end in Jerusalem, then the whole world will be deceived by the great signs and wonders and miracles he will do, to fool the majority into worshiping him as God. This Lord Jesus and Apostle's Paul and John warned the Church about for the end of this world.

Thus the BIG SHOW hasn't even begun yet!

I couldn't watch all of the video ... I found that laughing very disturbing, and I cannot see it in the Bible.

Paul taught that church services should be carried out decently and in order.

Concerning the "great signs and wonders and miracle" at the end time, we are told: "do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world." (1 John 4:1)

We can test the spirits by using the Bible to discern whether the experiences are from God or Satan.
