Hello everyone. I am pretty new to being Christian. I used to be agnostic but I had two incredible supernatural experiences with Jesus. It's a long story but the first encounter happened when I forgave my mom for some personal things. I heard an audible voice. During the first encounter, a golden light filled my bedroom. It was very intense. It sounds bizarre but I was able to have a whole conversation with him. During the conversation I learned that Jesus IS God (his words) and according to him the reason why I suffered from depression all the time was because I forgot that he loved me. I was agnostic before any of this happened.
I would like to say that I became a Christian right away. But I was still confused. I will admit my problem was that after this experience I was diagnosed as bipolar, and they implied that the experience I had was all in my head. But 2 years later, I had another encounter. This time I heard a voice and had a vision. I won't go into details about my second experience because it is rather personal, but even after the second experience, I questioned my sanity.
Well I recently had personal confirmation that my encounters were real. I have been using my own method to read the bible as well and finally the bible started to speak to me. I can now feel God himself speaking to me through the bible. I will say to a nonbeliever like I used to be, the bible is just a useless book of myths. But if you truly believe in God with all your heart, it really does speak to you and you know it's real.
I only wish God would speak to everyone like he spoke to me. It really did take God himself intervening in my life in order for me to believe. I wish this for everyone.
