I like Black Diamond, Alberta.
Close to the Rockies, great area for motorcycle riding.
We camped at the Lions Campground there.
Love the cowboy trail going south from there as well.
So, yes, it's not all bad. lol

My wife and I spend a few seasons working with the Chinook Scouts of Canada in Lethbridge, Alberta. Enjoyed the heck out it with US Scouts exchange from Great Falls Montana. So my vote would be for Alberta, hands-down. BC - southern part is too expensive and not my cup-of-tea..

The southern part of BC, yes, you are right, except the area around Rock Creek and further east.
Stay away from Vancouver, that's for sure. Kelowna and area is also to busy for me.
We'r up north and live on a lake.

Sorry, I didnt see this earlier! When Im online I prefer not to be more specific about where I live. However I have lived or spent time almost through out Ontario, so Id be curious to hear where you've passed through and share about if I've been there.

Id have to agree about Quebec. rural, Old Quebec and Montreal; in all these cases I really enjoy it there. The traffic can be a bit scary from time to time though, lol.

Prince Edward County and area.

Prince Edward County is beautiful country. I've mainly just passed by but Ive been to a few festivals there too. I love to get out to New Brunswick. Miramichi and that area - I love it there. I'd like to explore Nova Scotia more. I've never been west of Winnipeg though, which needs to change asap.
