What topic is that, is discussion of the GodHead off limits?

From:

At the moment, we only have issue with one particular topic, which is "The Trinity".
This topic may not be initiated, discussed or debated at Christianity Board, whether it be for or against the Trinitarian view. Included in this is the side mantra of "Jesus is not God" Such posts/threads will be deleted immediately and disciplinary action will be taken in the form of warning points and/or bans depending on the outcome. Old threads will also be removed from public view as well as new ones.

We know Christ came in the same flesh as man. He had flesh and blood and could suffer death. He had the genetic makeup handed down from Adam's fall through Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and King David. So He was made in all points just like we are, and could be tempted and could sin. So what kept Him from sinning?
How? Easy. Jesus was God made flesh .

For it is written that, Jesus was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

Now, to know what was His secret weapon is, He is apparently the Word of GOD. In the desert He was tempted by the devil among many, 3 significant times, yet without sin for our lesson.

Next, according to the desires and passions of the very flesh, He could have acted on it, besides being the Word of GOD, yet without sin. During these ordeals, there was a close call, or probably more and probably not documented. That, the devil too used the written word of GOD in tempting Jesus.

Again, His secret weapon was again the Word of GOD in counter respond to defeat the devil's lies and deception, yet again without sin. Now, just want to jolt out a valuable point, but in irony perplexed about the characteristic of the Son.

Jesus just finish fasting for 40 days and nights, and hungry, moreover able to break His fast already. But, He chose not to, even though when the devil tempted Him to do so. Well. it would have took Him a travel to get to the city to buy or to be offered some food.

He rather refrain all the members of His body to obedience, not to be a slave to the passions and desires of the flesh He dwells. Second, also make them obedient not to be deceived by lies and deception of man and the devil. Third, make them too obedient even to go through tribulation, persecution and till death on the Cross.

He was conceived and Born of Gods seed...that’s what kept him from sinning.

He couldn’t sin because he was God in the flesh...that’s another way of looking at your question.

Also if I may say, let’s be careful we don’t start getting into the trinity..we are not allowed to discuss that on this forum.

Ritajanice, what do you mean when you use the word 'sinning'? I'm not sure if we are all meaning the same thing.
Before we are Born Again we were sinners, remember how sin entered the world by one man?

"...but we speak God's wisdom in a mystery, even the wisdom that hath been hidden, which God foreordained before the worlds unto our glory: which none of the rulers of this world hath known: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory: but as it is written, Things which eye saw not, and ear heard not, And which entered not into the heart of man, Whatsoever things God prepared for them that love him." (1Cor 2:7-9 ASV)
Arthur81, why did you quote this? Not sure if I follow your line of thinking here. Sorry, maybe I'm a bit slow or something.

Romans 5:12-14

Romans 5:12-14 MSG

You know the story of how Adam landed us in the dilemma we’re in—first sin, then death, and no one exempt from either sin or death. That sin disturbed relations with God in everything and everyone, but the extent of the disturbance was not clear until God spelled it out in detail to Moses. So death, this huge abyss separating us from God, dominated the landscape from Adam to Moses. Even those who didn’t sin precisely as Adam did by disobeying a specific command of God still had to experience this termination of life, this separation from God. But Adam, who got us into this, also points ahead to the One who will get us out of it.

Jesus is the only one who can remove our sin.

Fred J, I'm confused by your use of the term, word of God? Is it Word of God a Person. Then word of God a thing written down. It seems a strange thing that you would use the same term interchangeably, if one is a person and one is not a person.

Gods word is his seed.

We have the exact seed that entered Mary womb..that seed is the Holy Spirit...hope that helps.

Gods seed that was planted into Mary womb grew into Jesus..

Be careful as we are not allowed to talk about the Trinity..just so you know. @12question

Someone stated earlier that God cannot sin. I just wanted to find out what it is God cannot do, specifically when it comes to sinning. Does sinning apply to everyone besides God. Because if we go with some of the things that God asked us to do or not to do, and apply it to Him then God certainly has been sinning, a lot.

Besides God...now I am lost as God cannot sin he is God.

I will leave someone else to answer that question you ask.

Yes, what a fantastic hope we have and can hold out to others. Through the blood of the Lamb of God, God will reconcile ALL things in heaven and earth. Sin has been dealt with once and for ALL. Wherever sin is, God's sacrificial Lamb has given His blood to remove it ALL. The scope of this act is mind blowing. I love the Person Whose wisdom conceived such a brilliant plan and scripted such a blockbuster that will never be outdone. It will remain at number 1 forever, never to be surpassed, overshadowed or outshone. Wow! What a Scriptwriter and Creator He is!
