ok you are looking or hoping for a literal manifestation of something, an appearance if you will, after you have died, right? But Christ came that we might have life, more abundantly! So Apollos waters, likely meaning that we all start out with Death, More Abundantly, "Mithraism," bc that is what comports with our desire to go up to a literal place called Heaven, after we have died, and our beliefs that Yah needed a sacrifice for our sins, a "propitiation," but see that is really all just Cult of Sol Invictus, belief in Zeus, who needed sacrifices, not Yah; I desire mercy, not sacrifice.

So, the virgin will be with child to us means "A virgin named 'Mary' had a baby," but see to them "the Virgin" was a very specific deity, yeh? And while we perceive them now as cultists, lost in a bad theology, that was the best theology around then; belief in a One God was initially considered "atheism." But you cant glean all this if the Bible is read as literal history, and the Bible completely contradicts Itself when read on that level, hence all the disagreement among Christians, basically, at least imo.

You might read this for a primer, Israelite Origins: putting away childish things | Biblical Historical Context, but see that that is #3 on the list, so you might want to start at #1, and if that all seems pointless to you my argument there would be that you just cannot tell people who are not ready to hear something the truth, bc they will literally not be able to hear it, me included :)

Or one way of understanding it could be to consider where Jesus was 2000 years ago. Was he not in at least one heaven while he was walking among us as a man? He apparently has been in all three heavens:

'And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven." John 3:13

And are these then the mansions that concern you?

"In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you." John 14:2

Where is his Father's house? Is it in one or more of the three heavens in our house? [Is our house supposed to be in one of them?] Was Jesus in a heaven [which one?] preparing a place for us, which he called a mansion?

There seems to be more questions than answers! [Undoubtedly others here will have some very specific answers, but be careful about taking any person's word for it.]

Perhaps by seeking first things first God will then add to you what you are seeking?

"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.'' Matt 6:33

Also consider what our 'house' is. Is it a mansion to be prepared by Jesus within his Father's house? Are we not houses of Jesus [see I Peter 2:5]? Are not we to be the place, a house even on which he should be able to lay his head? Does not Jesus come into us, if we allow it, in order to work on us [see Col 1:27]?

"...but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head." Matt 8:20

Perhaps he is preparing himself a place to lay his head?

Should not his head be setting on top of his Body? What are we, if not the Body of Christ? Could we be the mansion he is preparing? Can we look into a mirror and see how the 'mansion' looks?

Heaven is God Himself. "Mansions" are a place in God Himself .

As Jesus said .."I go to prepare a place for you."

Don't bother to look for something outside of God.
