Raised Catholic, taught in Catholic schools throughout, altar boy, and played rugby for Marist. But went to church after i left school only 3 times... two of them after I was born again, didn't recognise Jesus in anything there, never returned.
Born again at 23, after a friend asked two questions.
"Do you believe in God?"
Yes.
"Do you think He approves of your current lifestyle?"
Took me about 5 hours to answer that one. As I lay in bed looking up at the black ceiling, finally admitted, "no. Please Lord, make my life something you can approve of". I was bear hugged by love for a further 3 hours before falling asleep on a pillow drenched with tears of joy and gratitude.
I woke up a very different person. It was then I returned to the local Catholic church, but twice was sufficient to tell me never again. Went the friend's Presbyterian church for a few weeks, then AOG. Was baptised there, moved to another city, twice, but left to a 5 year void after being disillusioned with the teaching and the leadership.
Then came the SDA. That was 30 years ago. No looking back.

a fair question sister .
But you might wanna ask me as to WHY when i studied it for myself
I ran FROM IT .
And remember that no denomination , no not even the RCC teaches ALL LIES .
ALWAYS truths are taught and lies are found .
Then ask yourself , HOW come amigo seems to love and have loved to read that bible non stop
every day for years , and yet other books of christendom that i tried to read , I PUT THEM DOWN REAL FAST .
YET over all these years , I HAVE NOT PUT THE BIBLE DOWN but keep loving to read it every single day .

now go ask a JW why they did .
ASK a mormon why they did
ask a catholic why they did
You gonna find their answer is the same , cause GOD revealed it to be the true one .
Yet i have examined all of those .
RAN FROM THEM .
Now why is that . WHY do some run too one place , another to another place , another to another place
and yet this sheep RAN from such places .
WE CANT ALL BE right . YE SHALL FIND your answer IN THE PAGES OF THAT BIBLE .
and the more we read and enjoy it the more it becomes very evident indeed .

SO the only one i can point this people to IS CHRIST and the only book THE BIBLE .
CAUSE JESUS I KNOW SAVES , and THE BIBLE I KNOW was inspired by GOD . all else HAS TO BE and MUST
be tested against such . to include even myself . but when we test what one says
LET IT NOT BE against the doctrines of men , but rather what the bible itself says .
NOW to do so that does mean one thing , ATTENTION ALL , NOSES IN BIBLES and s tart loving TRUTH again .

oh i know dear sister . but as your brother i can only warn and remind you , DO NOT become SDA .
now if you like to know why you can ask me .
One of the main reasons IS investigative judgement . that alone had kept me out .
Though there are a few more things as well .
WHEN a man sets a date , as did miller
That alone would have been all i needed to run from such a man .
But anyway he missed it the first time THEN sets another date . NO SUPRISE THERE he missed that one too .
But later along comes ELLEN white and says HE DID NOT MISS the date
HE had that right . he messed up the location OF WHERE JESUS was coming .
YOU SEE the problem yet .
AND here is something i th ink not a one SDA even seems to notice .
IF ELLEN even had been right about the miller getting the date right but location wrong .
WHY DID HE SET TWO D ATES . The whole thing is a pharce sister .
AND any religoin that builds itself upon a lie from a date setter and one who sat under such a date setter
and then makes the cliams she did , I GOTTA say that alone would have kept me out of it .

I can see you've never made a mistake and relish the idea of pointing to the mistakes of others, amigo!

Whenever a person leaves the RCC, many still cling to some type of religious system that helps soothe their soul.

Not many come all the way out of religion.

When God called me out of RCC, HE used my rebellious nature when HE saved me = against religion.
After i left RCC, the Holy Spirit guided me thru Baptist, Pentecostal, Messianic and non-denominational churches.

@Nancy and @Brakelite, The KEY to FREEDOM is the LORD JESUS and the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.
Giving oneself to prayer and a unquenching desire to only know and love the TRUTH.


Overcoming 'respect of persons' is extremely difficult and most will never get past that.

And because they are so perfect, and exactly where God wants them to be, they must also be totally correct in their judgment of my motive and reasons. So I suppose there's not much more to be said. Those pesky heretical Adventists, always setting dates, keeping commandments no-one else does, believing that Jesus judges people before He comes back to take them to meet His Father, oh, yes run from them. Lets not kid ourselves or others .
No one said THEY STILL set dates .
But that religoin began on the boot heels of one who had set dates
and an overwhemled school girl who could not face the facts that her beloved miller had been in e rror
Began a religoin based on a lie .
Investigative judgement must be removed . maybe a few other things as well .
Now we have us a harlot and that harlot has and is infiltrated everything .
What do we say to a harlot , NOT TODAY , NOT E VER .
When one cometh out of a harlot , out of babylon, Ensure that babylon and the doctrines of a harlot
are removed . Many do not do that latter part .
THEY hold onto false doctrines still . thus all one can see is
the blind children hollering to the blind children , Come to us and the other side says the same .
It is bible time in the house . My advice
is let all begin anew and afresh , WITHOUT the influence of them pesky mens doctrines , and read it for oneself .

have one thing in common .
Not the doc trines , but the fact THEY SIT and SAT UNDER MEN THAT I PROMISE TWISTED doctrine .

As we seen even from many within the protestant reformation . though not all .
but many could sound the trumpet against one of the most powerful of anti christ religoin
and yet , well not all who came out and warned , HAD FULLY COME OUT as they held to dangerous doctrines
themselves .
As some would later see this and began a call to return completely to the beginning
and to do simply as was inst ructed in that bible .
But even then few they were .
TRUTH . that will be the KEY .
And now a word
WHO can simply read the b ible and simply BELEIVE what is written
and just BELEIVE as do a child what was written
AND DONT DO as many do and try and twist and omit SOMETHING .
And your answer is
SHEEP . Sheep BELEIVE TRUTH , even if they do not yet understand , THE Y WILL BELEIVE IT
and not try and twist it or omit it . SHEEP .

FOR THIS CAUSE was i born and for this reason came i unto the world
TO TESTIFY OF THE TRUTH
All who are OF the TRUTH , HEAR ME , COME TO ME . JESUS HAS THE SHEEP and you can BANK ON THAT FACT my friend .
AND he will lead and do GUIDE HIS OWN
and will correct one who errs . SHEEP hear and SHEEP DO . and again if one does err
IT will recieve the correction and repent . NOT continue TO JUSTIFY EVERY DAY ITS EVIL or the evil of others .
THose who do the latter , DO NOT , allow me to stress this again , DO NOT KNOW HIM .
Because one who has THE SPIRIT , WELL THE SPIRIT convicts them of sin and error .
IT IS BIBLE TIME in the house . I truly cannot stress that and say that enough .
