Good friends: a close relative is in hospice, in some pain. I would like to be with him for even a short time, to pray with him and for him. His wife says he is refusing all visitors.

What might be a reasonable approach?

Blessings.

Have her tell him that you are consoling others that would like to visit...if you could just have a brief word with him. Pray with him. Then console the others.

Show up outside at his room window with a sign with your message on it . Tell him you want to talk about an extended auto warranty , I would die laughing if someone pulled that on me .
