Why do you not believe God's Words??
Romans: Chapter 10 verse 9-10-13
GOD SAYS=
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
and shalt believe in your heart that God hath raised him
from the dead, thou shalt be Saved. For with the heart man
believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession
is made unto Salvation. For whosoever shall call upon the
name of the Lord shall be Saved........

Why don't you believe Jesus words:
He who believes and is baptized will be saved (Mk 16:16)
Peter wrote: Baptism, which corresponds to this, now saves you (1Pet 3:21)

Nothing Satan loves better than misquoted Scripture ...

“ All Of Those That BELIEVE and are Baptized shall be Saved.....All Of this That do NOT BELIEVE will be condemned.”
Notice how the “ Baptized” part is left out of the “ condemned “ sentence? This is crucial stuff ! Do you think Jesus “forgot” to throw that in? Why did you not include the part that I just did?
Why is it crucial?
Why do you think the second part nullifies the first?

There's no formula for being born again. That's a Sovereign act of God. There's no formula on how to be born physically that is a Sovereign act of God

receiving baptism in Jesus' Name will seal the deal so that you can know that you "shall be saved" (Mark 16:16).

As opposed to merely believing where you have a more iffy prospect...you "should not perish" (John 3:16).

Of course, the absolute and less iffy prospect is also offered if you will merely call on the name of the Lord. If you do so, you "shall be saved." (Romans 10:13).

Believing God's Words about how to be saved is how you can know you are saved=God's Word is eternal living Truth!

The Formula for “being born again “ DOES exist! Here it is !

.....”All Those That “ASK”,Receive......all of those that ASK for Mercy shall receive it “
“ Anybody that ASKS to be Saved, WILL be Saved...”

Indeed...

Mat 7:7, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
Mat 7:8, For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
Mat 7:9, Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?
Mat 7:10, Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?
Mat 7:11, If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

Luk 11:9, And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
Luk 11:10, For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
Luk 11:11, If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?
Luk 11:12, Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?
Luk 11:13, If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

So, the Holy Ghost can be received by merely asking.

But, in case you have any doubt; and want to go in the way of seeking and knocking also, there is this scripture:

Act 2:38, Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Act 2:39, For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

Romans 8:30 does have a bearing on this, of course.

THINK!! The thief was not baptized but went to be with Jesus. Baptism does not save.

AFTER he had risen from the dead, when the New Covenant came into effect, Jesus said: He who believes and is baptized will be saved (Mk 16:16). Believe Jesus meant what he said.

Peter wrote: Baptism, which corresponds to this, now saves you (1Pet 3:21) Did the Holy Spirit not inspire Peter to write that? Or do you think the Holy Spirit was in error?

How is it applied? What must a man do in order for it to be applied?

My answer to this question is Romans 10:8-13.

Believing is unto righteousness; but confession is unto salvation.

The blood of Christ Justifies Rom 5:9
How is it applied? Answer= believe and understand the Word of God.

Not good enough.

The answer is found succinctly in Romans 10:13.

It is also true that a man cannot understand the word of God apart from already being saved (1 Corinthians 2:13-14). Therefore salvation comes first and understanding God's word cannot come first.
