Only one way according to scripture. Baptism into the body of Christ, the church. By immersion into him, your sins are remitted and you also receive the gift of the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:38-47). It's at this point you become a child of God and a Christian.

Playing with man's ideas and words?? Baptism saves no one!! If baptism did save then there was no need for Jesus to die as payment for our sins.

Baptism is obeying Jesus AFTER you believe, confess and accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior!!

Too bad you didn't know about that... otherwise you would have included this.

Acts 2:38
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Mark 16:16
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved

You better obey the Lord boy... and get baptized.

You have NOT been baptized??? clueless-scratching.gif

Acts 2:38

Mark 16:16
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved

That's wierd, cuz that's not what the bible says! You said "baptism saves no one!!"

1 Peter 3:21

21The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:

You don't know what you're talking about. If you're in sin, you're not saved, and the scriptures clearly teach that baptism is what removes sin.

Acts 2:38,

38Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Acts 22:16,

16And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

So you admit you do not accept the whole counsel of God and have decided He lied in Acts 2:38, and Mark 16:16 clueless-scratching.gif

Maybe you can REPENT soon and get back in right standing with the Lord. agree.gif

How to be saved (born again) and join the family of God!!!

Romans: Chapter 10 verse 9-10-13 GOD SAYS=

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
and shalt believe in your heart that God hath raised him
from the dead, thou shalt be Saved. For with the heart man
believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession
is made unto Salvation. For """"whosoever shall call upon the
name of the Lord shall be Saved.""""...................Believe the Word of God!!

Yes. Confession is ONE aspect of the salvation process, but just one. The Ethiopian eunuch did it in Acts 8, but after he confessed his belief, he was immediately baptized by Philip. So, what are all the necessary steps?
1. Belief/faith
2. Confession of belief
3. Repentance (Acts 2:38)
4. Immersion in water (Acts 2:38)

After doing ALL of the above, the Lord adds you to his body which is the church (Acts2:47)

Again= when you believe and call on Jesus and are saved you will want to be baptized NOT baptized to be saved but baptized because you have been saved and choose to obey.

I explained this before but once more for you:
If you're in sin, you can't be saved and you aren't saved until you're baptized for the remission of sins according to Acts 2:38, not before..that's what the scriptures say unless you ignore them. Saved means saved from your sins which separates you from God.

LOL!! THINK!! Everyone is in sin before they believe, confess, repent and call on God to save them. You could be baptized everyday of your life and then die and bust hell wide open.

you will want to be baptized NOT baptized to be saved

So you believe Jesus lied about it when He said: He that believeth and is baptized shall be savedclueless-scratching.gif

Is this what you are telling me???

You could be baptized everyday of your life and then die and bust hell wide open.

I never claimed one does not first repent confess and believe to be saved and then get baptized...

Jesus said those that do this, AND get baptized... will be saved.

So we should put you down as one that thinks sometimes Jesus lies about stuff???

To answer your question, YES! Everyone, absolutely every, single person is/was in sin prior go baptism which is the only thing pet the scriptures that removes it.

And you lack understanding of how sin is removed once you've been baptized and have become a child of God
It's by repentance. Read the scriptures!

God says IF we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us of all sin.

God also says in His Word "Repent, and be baptized every one
of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins
" (Acts 2:38)

Do you believe the Book of Acts is not part of God's Word??? clueless-scratching.gif

Having a Bible on Kindle can be quite handy. I once went through the entire NT and compiled (1) those verses that can reasonably be interpreted from a Once Saved Always Saved perspective and (2) those that must reasonably be interpreted as suggesting that continuing in the faith is a requirement of salvation. The "continuing in the faith" verses, IMO, overwhelm the OSAS verses. Curiously, or perhaps not, this is what the two oldest branches of Christianity - Orthodoxy and Catholicism, accounting for about 3/4 of Christendom - believe and have always believed. In fact, I see very little support for the notion that salvation occurs at a moment in time. "Confessing," "believing in" and "believing in the name of" Jesus are potentially mysterious concepts, as is "continuing in the faith." This is why the Orthodox say you'll find out you're saved when you stand before God and He tells you.
