Jesus told Pilate: ‘My kingdom is not of this world’ (John 18:36). That single statement vaporizes the idea that dirt under your feet, or borders on a map, can define God’s covenant people. The veil was torn at the Cross, the old covenant ended, and the new one was ratified in His blood (Hebrews 9:15). Since then, the only Israel God the Father recognizes is the Body of Christ.
So here’s the truth you both need to wrestle with: if you are in Christ, you are Israel. If you are outside of Him, you are not — even if you live in downtown Jerusalem with your hand on the Western Wall.
Identity theft isn’t claiming to be Israel in Christ. The real identity theft is pretending the covenant still belongs to flesh, dirt, or politics after the Son of God fulfilled it at Calvary. That’s the crime. That’s the lie. And the Word of God exposes it.”**
