Wagner's troops officially occupy Berkhovka and control 90% of Jagodny. A small building complex remains just outside the main settlement that is still disputed.
The Russians are very close to controlling the entire east side of the city.
In this area, the Russian army continues to advance from two axes in the Zabakhmutka region. From the beginning, Russian troops took control of the former kindergarten and the surrounding buildings on Vatutina Street, while the troops reached Shchedra Street from the second axis.
Russian troops have begun entering the homes west of the former 2572ed Artillery Weapons Depot.
Wagner's assault groups advanced along the Mariupol cemetery area south of Bakhmut and advanced to the dacha area on Korsunsky and Tchaikovsky streets.
West of Blagodatny, PMC Wagner forces approached the settlement of Zaliznyanskoye and will soon bring it under their control.

Wont happen unless Russia is broken and defeated with a regime change.
It is more like Ukraine is going to drive China to join militarily with Russia, hold India support and the Ukraine war is going to break Europe and the US. The US has not won a war since ww2 and that was when we had nuclear supremacy for a few decades. We are in no position to win any wars anymore against large regional powers, we could not even do it in small countries like Korea, Vietnam, Syria or Afghanistan. the US political resolve will fail and there will be a change in the government policies because the people will not put up with the Ukraine war too long.
All that money, hundreds of billions of us dollars sent over there is wasted, the same as every other little war we have stepped into. We really do step into quagmire every time.

Could happen. right now Russia is losing the war. they have used the vast majority of their advanced weaponry and are now relying more on old soviet era weapons.
Ukraine will drive nobody. china will sell Russia weapons only if it is in the interest of China. they may wish to keep this war going to keep the Western nations occupied so they can invade Taiwan.
We can win any war we choose, if the politicians do not muzzle the army as they did in Vietnam and the ME. We won Korea because we drove the North and China to the peace table.
Loss of resolve may be true. but I think teh west is now just as committed to seeing this end with Russia out of Ukranian territory as Russia is committed to not lose the war to lose face.
Ukraine has a solution right in front of them .....A few weeks ago, a Russian Spy Plane was destroyed on the ground on a Russian Air Base. Ukrainian drone, flies in and lands on the disc of the plane. "Here I am! Destroy me now!" Plane gone within seconds. The US needs to provide more Kamikazi Drones followed by Predator Drones. Yes we have made slaughtering people so convenient, we do not even have to be there to kill hundreds anymore. War has become a video game!
We did not win Korea, the communist Chinese pushed us all the way back to the original line. US forces were all the way into the north and prevailing until China enters the war.
It was a stalemate, we left the communists in power. Actually no one really won the Korean war, and we definitely did not win in Korea

That Russian military Base will never be taken and that has been the stance regarding Russia for how long now, after WW2 Russia has always said if anyone try's to take that from them, it's just not going to happen and everyone who knows why knows it will kick off WW3 Directly and someone will get Nuclear bomb dropped on them for sure 100% if they try and maybe one 90 times stronger than dropped on Japan ? And if Russia were to retaliate by attacking Germany for example, Germany too would fall. The German defense minister just admitted that his country is unprepared to defend itself.

We had won in Korea until the Chinese flooded the north with troops. JUst like Ukraine is winning this war with Russia! They invaded with massive force and initiall took lots of territory, they have been since being pushed back. they may win Bakhmut andd you and ot3hers are making that a big deal!
Ukraine now has the upper hand as Russia has used the vast bulk of thei advanced weaponry. remember they are left to refurbish T-62 tanks because they have lost the vast bulk of their T-72's and many T-80's and T-90's. there are too few T-14's to make a difference.
Ukraine now is the one with the more advanced weaponry.
If Ukraine had the upper hand with all the billions of dollars and millions of armaments. this should have been a done deal by now. And China is more than willing to help Russia with any shortfall of weaponry, so that they win. Therefore Ukraine has absolutely no alternative except to go to the negotiating table and settle the matter there. That would have been the smart thing from the get-go. But ALL the leaders are simply and plainly stupid.
There is no other way to describe one year of foolishness, and the loss of billions of dollars, and thousands (or hundreds of thousands of lives, along with the destruction of Ukraine). There was nothing but propaganda from the West from day one. That used to be the specialty of the USSR and China, but now propaganda is the specialty of the West.
