that is why I Quoted a commonly misinterpreted Scripture for an example? Or what I mean is pls Quote where Paul said "to be absent from the body," or bam invoke another example if you like, "run the race" is another good one I guess

Hmm, I wouldn't have put it that way, but Paul particularly makes statements that may easily be misinterpreted according to our desires imo, ya. For instance many believers, maybe even most, would tell one that Paul said "to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord," an obvious mis-Quote, and there are other examples

and obviously millions/billions of people have got the notion of "fight the devil" from somewhere too, right
