Hello forum, well as you have noticed I became a moderator. It has been my heart for awhile now but mostly when I was at CF. Then after getting a few warnings and rebukes I decided forget that!!! I don't want to be going around chastising everyone....and besides I really would have been very biased for or against some topics.
I have grown a lot since then and when the offer came up I prayed about it and God said yes.
I will probably make a few mistakes in the beginning but I promise I pray for His Wisdom before I log on.
So bottom line you are my brothers and sisters in Christ and though we disagree on certain topics I believe it is the Power of the Holy Spirit that is going to unite us all in 1 faith. I pray for everyone here that we may put aside our differences in our beliefs because no one has the full truth.
I pray also that Love consumes this forum in such a way that when new people come they stay and bring others.
I pray that this forum is the place people can come and receive Godly counsel, receive hope, receive Love.
I love the members here so much that when I am gone or.they.are for a while I start missing them so much!
You are part of my body...the Body of Christ....so whomever is the hand, foot, eye...etc...don't stay away too long we got to stay whole to fully function!
:)

Oh and my main reason for becoming a moderator is to be a prayer covering for the forum and all the members.

Well God Bless and pray for me and the forum and all the members! Amen!

OK, you're a mod. Congrats!

I want to say this, perhaps you and/or others will be offended, yet I am not stating it to accomplish this at all.

For the record? I'm not "putting aside my differences."

Why?

Because that is called compromise, and it isn't biblical. Instead, we are to earnestly contend for the faith as per Jude 1:4. That we "don't have all the answers" is no reason to stop defending what we do know, nor is it a reason to compromise, end exposing error, end correction, cease rebuking and refutations as per the imperative of 2 Timothy 4:1ff, along with many other passages. To do otherwise is a cop-out. It isn't Christianity. Read the Bible, it is never the protocol, false gospels, false teachings, error, heresies, all were preached against, exposed, refuted.

Too many have given their lives for the faith, fighting against heresy, error, you name it. Burned at the stake, hunted by dogs, beheaded, and other methods of murder. All due to their contending for the faith and against error.

Many of these were called unloving, judgmental, hateful, prideful, wicked. I've seen this stated to some lately here, yes, here, against their biblical stance and frankly, that is a shame.

Imagine if Paul compromised, or any of the 12, or the prophets, or Christ. No, no! Christianity is not a compromising religion at all, such an objective is another religion altogether. We are called to fight and defend the gospel, from attacks without, and from the more sinister attacks from within.

So bottom line, we don't need a new precedent set, in the "set aside our differences" matter. It isn't biblical, it is anti-Biblical.

I don't think you will find it that hard, its not as if Mods always have to be checking correct, or incorrect doctrines. Forums are all about discussing things we see the same and the things that we perceive differently. Each verse we read in scripture , we read through the eyes of our own belief system. If we are wise we will always try and stay teachable .
It's the - " I and I only have it right, and you are wrong" which kills all discussions.

So, as I see it , differences are not ever the forums problem , but negative attitudes are what I hope that Mods address.
Keeping the spiritual atmosphere warm and inviting for the new members is my hope.

God bless you , you will be blessed :)

Which would mean many would have to set aside their false gospels, false Christs, false teachings, AND, true Gospel, true Christ, and true teachings. You want everyone to embrace one another, each still believing in their false gospels, Christ's, truths, and you are praying for it to happen. This is how I know you're in error because it is anti-biblical balderdash.

It is noted you have used zero Scripture, and have dismissed each you've been given that refute your position in favor of your own truth and your own precedent. Interestingly enough such behavior reflects all those who rejected the prophets and the word of the Old and New testament.

True unity is only under truth, it isn't under compromise, nor is it under your attempted precedent to set aside differences, which is in fact compromising of truth. By knowing the word some of us are able to discern your plea to compromise truth for false unity as error.

Here is the unity I am praying for....as it is written in His Word.
Ephesians 4 King James Version (KJV)

4 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,

2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;

3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

8 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.

9 (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?

10 He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)

11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

What Heart2Soul!!! didn't you know that I am the final authority on every theological question?....I can prove everything for everybody.....and what's more, I am so imbued with the Spirit I cannot be wrong. Whewwww, I know it's hard to be humble when one has as much understanding as myself so I'm sure you can see the humility oozing from me.
Anyway, I wish you well and leave the offer open of rectifying/fixing any seemingly unsolvable problems that might arise. :) :) :)

There is only one faith as it says. Not 12, 57, 3000.

Calling people to set aside differences is unbiblical, uncalled for, and it isn't "unity." It's compromise. Note Proverbs 23:23. Note John 17:17.

It is a subtle denial of the faith, it is mysticism, sensuality, emotionalism, ecumenism, neo-Babel ideology, a setting up of a false worldwide "church" that will in fact attack those who stand for truth, not setting aside differences. Lets be clear here; what you mean by setting aside differences is in reality doctrine. Not happening here.

Note: it is the unity of the faith. It is not the unity of many faiths. You're reading your bias into the text, something that isn't their. This isn't a plea for those who have false Christ's, false gospels, heresies, false gods, error to all be one with those in the faith.

I have enough biblical truth and discernment to see that your plea is a dangerous error. Why? Because it doesn't ring true in light of Scripture. It is some quasi-political correctness, has the same feel of the Left, all who don't go our way in "unity" are marked off as hate groups, evil, prideful. In fact you recently said this to others or another who stand(s) for the faith; Jude 1:4.

For the record I haven't seen him since you had this engagement, so that leaves me pondering what happened.

Now tell me what doctrines (differences) I need to set aside so you can feel "unified?"

I think you're a little heavy-handed and over the top in your statements. I am just as uncompromising in my Christian faith, and in what I believe Scripture is teaching as you are.

But guess what? I bet there are differences we have concerning the Bible, God, and Jesus Christ. So who is the one that is false when we disagree?

If we who are Christian were lined up on stakes to be burned alive, how much would we object to anothers understanding of Christ and the Bible? Would we say to him you have no right to be burned alive next to me? Sounds silly doesn't it.

No, we wouldn't say that. But reading your post's, perhaps you would. I think we would recognize we were both believers in Christ and getting ready to meet our Lord. Our doctrinal differences wouldn't be considered.

On forums like this one where the rules of the forum are ecumenical instead of in line with God's Word, what can be done right? Stick with God's Word, or go against God's Word and stick with the rules , when there is something come up in the threads/ posts exposing what is contrary to God's Word ?

Proverbs 27:17 says “iron sharpens iron.” Now, what does all that mean? When you have a sword or knife that gets dull, it takes another iron to sharpen it. With knives they used whetstones, so it’s not iron. But the point of “iron sharpens iron” is that it takes friction from another iron or stone to sharpen that knife or sword. And with friction comes heat.

Just because what some of us say on here others say it’s full of hate, that’s not the truth. We are to contend for the faith, per Jude 1:4. @Preacher4Truth @Anthony D'Arienzo challenged my beliefs on another forum for 2-3 years. As I began to challenge my beliefs at that time to Bible, I found my beliefs would not hold up to the scrutiny of the Bible. The Bible won me over because of what it says, not because these two blessed Brothers brainwashed me. I am thankful for the heat, the friction, that came from their posts on that forum.

What many are calling hate on here is really love.

Yes...I am also thankful for faithful brothers who offer biblical correction.
I admit I posted many things, much truth, but also I went over the line several times drifting into sinful communication.
I am glad the posts were not censored and God gave much grace to SG.
Love covers a multitude of sins.
