At work I always had a notebook to make notes of things I might forget.

When I was working as a drafter I was taught to make notes of tasks that needed to be finished so that I wouldn't forget. I would use the sticky notes and just throw them away when the task was complete.

Make sticky notes and when the task is complete throw the note away. That way you ask once.

Yes, I have been taking notes (screenshots actually). If I hadn't done that I would be sunk!
