That supports what I am saying. Every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. (= salvation)
1 Corinthians 12:3
Therefore I want you to know that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says,
“Jesus be cursed,” and no one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit.
Romans 10:9
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart
that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Romans 14:9
For this very reason, Christ died and returned to life so that
he might be the Lord of both the dead and the living.
Note on "acknowledge" in Philippians 2:11 from Strong's Concordance
S1843 eksomologéō (from 1537 /ek, "wholly out from," intensifying 3670 /homologéō, "say the same thing about") – properly, fully agree and to acknowledge that agreement openly (whole-heartedly); hence, to confess ("openly declare"), without reservation (no holding back).
Regarding Phil 2:9 verse......we need to "hear what the Spirit is saying", because God's word is a spiritual word. Even the demons confess who Jesus is but they are not saved.........even the devil believes and trembles but he is not saved. And they do also bend the knee at the name of Jesus , ie, they have to obey Him, though they are not saved. For example, that is how demons are cast out and many sicknesses are healed. The devil even had to obtain God's permission to test Job and had to bend the knee and obey when the Lord put limits on what he could do to Job. When the wicked are raised to be judged, they will know then who Jesus is, but it won't mean they are saved.
Mar 1:24
Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God.
Luke 4:34
Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art; the Holy One of God.
And when once the Master has risen up and shut to the door, it will be too late for salvation.....people need to seek the Lord
while He may be found: and while it is still called Today....after death it is too late:
Luk 13:23-25
Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them,
Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.
When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:
