A good preacher, maybe, but definitely a bad example.
A woman who becomes a preacher is going against scripture (unless she is leading an all-women church). She is putting her desires above the Lord's -- which isn't too surprising as we live in a time where arrogance, self-centeredness and lack of humility are celebrated in women.
If one cannot humble themselves before the Lord and accept HiS rules, one cannot be taken seriously as a spokesperson for the Lord - man or woman.
Nonsense.Entirely.

Very true.

The sad fact is that nearly all the churches that have women pastors are steeped in several heresies and false doctrines and have lost their witness to a lost world.

Let proposition P1 = Junia in Rom 16:7 was a female apostle.

True?
False. Junia was not an Apostle.

7 Salute Andronicus and Junia, my kinsmen, and my fellow-prisoners, who are of note among the apostles, who also were in Christ before me.

They were well reported of among the apostles- not an apostle

Very much so.
And this has absolutely nothing to do with my opinion of women or what they are capable of doing. It is purely a matter of what God has set forth in scripture.

You can say you are 100% sure the earth is flat. Words are cheap unless you are willing to bet on it.
What exactly is this bet? Are we wagering money? How is the issue to be settled so we know who wins the bet?

I'm interested, I only need you to define these things for me.

Much love!

Yes. That's what Paul said.
Let proposition P1 = Junia in Rom 16:7 was a female apostle.
P2 = Junia in Rom 16:7 was not a female apostle.

Between 0 and 10, how much weight do you put on each of the above propositions? The stronger your belief in a proposition, the higher the weight.

All the Christian men I have ever known have respected women and given them the freedom to fulfil the purposes that God set out for them. All the women in my church have been encouraged to bring a word or a prophecy or to preach even if they had something to share. And I have belonged to two different fellowships in the years I've been a Christian. One a traditional denomination and the present one independent evangelical.

God gives us all gifts and talents to use for his purposes and to not be allowed to use them because of being a female does not sit right with who Jesus was and how he drew women followers as well as men.

I think it's only a few dinosaurs that implement the no women in the pulpit rules today.

Sure. At this point, I am interested in the following:

Let proposition P1 = Junia in Rom 16:7 was a female apostle.
P2 = Junia in Rom 16:7 was not a female apostle.

Between 0 and 10, how much weight do you put on each of the above propositions? The stronger your belief in a proposition, the higher the weight. This is the 2nd time I am asking.

Proof has already been posted. This is the last time I'll repeat myself.

I assume they are 10 and 0.

Are you willing to bet based on your weighting scheme?

I've bet my soul on the truth of God in Christ.

Let me give you some advice. Christians don't treat God's word as a Casino or a back ally crap shoot.

We believe. You dare wager on how much.

That's too bad.
Oh, and the Scholar references don't make your threads appear as any more than someone who knows nothing about our faith spending time, wasting time, on mocking that.

I'm going to ignore you now.

Right, so have I.

You keep overgeneralizing my words. I have never asked you to bet on that one. People who like to generalize tend to overdo it. That's a bad habit. Are you able to stick to precision in your language and in your thinking?

You've never answered me how you propose to conduct such a bet, and how it will be determined who wins.

Would you like to now?

Much love!
