I got done working tonight, and have been feeling down for a couple of days anyway. I opened to 1 Peter 1, and started reading out of the NLT outloud..
Chapter 1 v 3-4
...Now we live with great expectation, and we have a priceless inheritance...

So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you have to endure many trials for a little while.
v8-9
You love him even though you have never seen him. Though you do not see him now, you trust him; and you rejoice with a glorious, inexpressible joy. The reward for trusting him will be the salvation of your souls.
We really do have a lot to look forward to, folks. This scripture just jumped out to me and it had me crying and rejoicing at the same time, with inexpressible joy.
I truly believe God the Father wants us to know this joy throughout our day, not just after work and after dealing with some awful days.
