The sins of Sodom may not be what you think it is.

Ezekiel 16:49 Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy. 50 And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw good.

Although homosexuality was apparently rampant to such an extent that they had their own kind of political correctness in that you can't say "no" to them like when they were banging on Lot's door to let those two men out so they can get to know them, pride was the root of that homosexuality.

1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

Now that is explaining how a sinner can worship the outward appearance more than the Creator for why God would give them up to a reprobate mind to do that which is not convenient; which by homosexuality, no one can build a family by such an abominable union.

Romans 1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. 24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

So I reckon if we are seeing homosexuality having its way in America, it is probably because of the actual sins of Sodom for why God is allowing sinners to have such a reprobate mind.

Yes, I agree. Some things have gone before, before a country is turned over to homosexualtiy. Just as you pointed out in (Ezekiel), pride, fullness of bread, and idleness paved the way for homosexuals in Sodom. Maybe to identify as being of that church, each church should have an avatar specifically representing their local church.

The CW network got two TV shows that pretty much depicted a homosexual situation where you can't say no to; like in Arrow where Sara Lance was prisoner to the League of Assassins and was under the care of Nyssa, the daughter of the leader of the League of Assassins and Nyssa makes a move on her as if Saar can say no? Then they try to make Sara as if she was always gay that she preferred women over boys and yet in the beginning, she was so into boys that she cheated with her sister's boyfriend. This is what happens when homosexual activist cut into the series in not being true to the character in making someone a homosexual. Now "Sara" says in a recent crossover as of last year, that she likes both men and women.

Then you have CW's the 100 where Clarke is held captive as her and her people are at the mercy of the ruling princess whom is being peer pressured by other tribes to end Clarke and her people, and then she makes a move on Clarke. How can she say no to her?

Can anyone not see Stockholm's syndrome in both cases as well?

It really provokes me when Hollywood hype prison type homosexuality and getting away with it. I am about done watching any shows on the CW. I might still continue to watch the Flash, but I trust the Lord to lead me otherwise if He prefers I do not even though as all things are lawful unto me but I shall not be brought under the power of any. And yes, I had stopped watching Arrow and the 100's. They are bringing a transgender super hero on Supergirl and so.. about ready to stop watching it altogether. They made Supergirl's adopted sister, Alex, gay in the second season, which again, was not true to character because of all the teasing of this forbidden romance between Max Lord and Alex in the first season. The WB did the same thing on Dawson Creek's second season by changing Jack's sexual orientation sometime after he "pursued"Joey and kissed her out of the blue, knowing full well that she was still having a relationship with Dawson. Then it comes out he has always been gay .. yeah right. If Joey was the one that kissed him and then he felt trapped and reciprocated so that nobody would know he was gay, that would be believable, but no. This is an awful example of Hollywood playing homosexual activist in provoking the viewers for a nasty response just so they can call them bigots and act all persecuted & such.

Anyway, I digress again, but this is what I mean by the media promoting homosexuality openly to be accepted as okay. Now they are doing it for transgenders as influencing children into thinking about that transgender ideology without informing them of the danger of becoming sterile as a result.

Think any child is old enough to make an informed choice when later on in life they wish they had stayed as they were so they can have a family? I hope they sue Hollywood and the LGBT for all they are worth.

The LGBT are backing legislation for laws for using proper pronouns on transgenders as they are different kinds of transgenders and thus different pronouns. They try to insinuate that transgenders will be insulted and offended if they are not addressed by their proper pronoun. It is nothing more but giving power over the minute minority to bring the majority into the court of law for civil lawsuits for not yielding to their rule and thus tyranny.

If somebody is going to look like a man, then people should be allowed to say "he" or "him". If someone is going to look like a female, then people should be allowed to say "she" and "her". Those pronouns as always been and always will be correct even if someone is an impersonator. Not like we are God that can read people's minds. They are really being ridiculous to the point of being offensive, and provoking a response in return.

The Psychiatric Association had at one time announced in the media that homosexuality was a sexual aberrational disorder or something to that effect which brought about threatening phone calls at the work place and even in their homes with bricks being thrown through their windows when the next day, the Psychiatric Association or some organization like it, recanted. Kind of like using Nazis tactics in gaining power before WW2. I cannot find that news article now on the internet. Is it suggestive that they had it removed? Or is my search engine just not good enough to find it? I know not.

I digress again, but it goes to point how the media are catering to voicing the homosexual agenda's and now the transgenders' agenda, having the news NBC media cater to transgenders making a big deal about Scarlett Johannson being cast for the role of a transgender, and interviewing them as speaking for that audience that no longer want transgenders roles being taken by non transgenders. The transgenders are only speaking for themselves, the liars, and NBC news helped them spin that lie. I don't care to see a movie about a transgender crime boss. Not the way they are advertising it which is what I suspect they are doing it for in promoting that kind of a movie.

I can understand what you are saying in how Satan can use political correctness as I see it as undermining the majority by giving power over the minute minority, thus turning democracy into tyranny, but 2 Thessalonians 3:1-7 has Paul speaking of wicked and unreasonable men that have not faith that no longer walk after the traditions taught of us in how Jesus touching us to heed His commandment to withdraw from those that fall away from the faith, but in 2 Thessalonians 3:14-15, Paul points out to withdraw from them not to treat them as the enemy, but to admonish them as brothers still, which I see it as done in the hopes it will lead them to repentance.

This is why churches are to excommunicate the unrepentant brother so that once he does repent, he is allowed back in. 1 Corinthians 5:4-5 speaks of the purpose of excommunication which can be seen by how God will judge His House at the pre great trib rapture event & 1 Corinthians 5:11 shows why God will excommunicate any unrepentant saved believer from attending the Marriage Supper. Matthew 18:10-17 explains that in spite of Jesus having the 99 that did not go astray, He will still go after even that one lost sheep even if the church excommunicates him and he still did not repent until he was excommunicated by the Bridegroom which by then is too late, but He has him as promised in John 6:39-40 FYI
