What are some other examples of Christian mysticism?

We need to remember something . Even satan can appear as an angel of Light
so marvel not that many false religions can have the appearance of good in it , yet its there only to allure and deceive us .
And now we are seeing satan at work to find common ground amongst all the religoins in order to bring
them together to be as one .
If any other comes and does not hold to the gospel we must not even bid them god speed .
Remember the warnings in the bible .
Satan is very clever indeed , just as the bible says that he is .
There are many false religions that indeed can have an appearance of good works , but they are false and deadly
and will lead all who do enter them into a path of the blind .

There is a lie that is fast gaining ground in these days .
And that lie basically says that so long as one is doing good they know God .
But how is it doing good or how is it love to allow anyone to be trapped in a false religion .
Even when i was pagan i could do good works , i could help out folks in need , But i was still lost in sin
We must deeply understand that if one does not confess JESUS as LORD and believe from the heart
that GOD has raised Him from the dead , they are not saved .
The gospel must be put back at the forefront . In the end
and on the day of judgment all will be held accountable unto Christ . And if we
told someone its okay to be a buddist or an antheist , or even supported things as gay marriage
calling evil good and good evil , JESUS is gonna tell us , I NEVER KNEW YOU .
Satan is full of the wisdom of this world , and he knows how to deceive and to allure .

I didn't read anything anyone said yet..just diving right in..
My input is ...Anyone that has had the Divine gift that has elevated them to see into what others find as
mysterious --would say Christian mysticism is good...very very good.
Amazing Grace ...I was blind and now I see, thank you humbly, Lord.

Can you give an example? Genuinely curious.

Oh yes definitely. I'm a big fan of Christian mysticism.
Catholicism has a mystical tradition.
Mystics like St. John of the Cross, had mystical experiences, bordering on supernatural. He had a very special relationship with God. Here's a wiki summary.

Christian mysticism - Wikipedia

Mysticism is massively alluring and piques the interest of the natural man. However it is not something one should seek but have God force it upon a person. Most mystical thought and practices run contrary to normal SCripture and thus bad! I do not see much good coming out of it.

Mysticism is basically taking the next step in your faith. It's only for those that are willing to make more self sacrifice, more devotion to the way of Jesus. When Jesus says He is one with the Most High, that's a mystical statement. Unity with the Creator.
It's not for everyone. Many are to rooted in to this world to make that step.

But you are my only friend. Please don't abandon Me ever.
You are not on the forum anymore, but I know as a non-member you should be able to read this. I am holding you up before God in prayer. If we both stand with Him, we will come together soon. Give God the glory!
