Okay, let's take these three verses you cite below.

So, you want to take this verse literally? Then I'll assume that Jesus really wanted us to cut off our hands and feet or pluck out our eyes (verses 45, 47).

That said, are you aware that the entire verses of 44, 46 parts of verse 45 and 47 are spurious? Meaning that they do not appear in the Codex Vaticanus and the Codex Sinaiticus.
It doesn't matter because verse 43 clearly states that the fire shall never be quenched.

I guess we could segway into why we shouldn't value the Codex Vaticanus and the Codex Sinaiticus over the Textus Receptus but we will leave that for another time.

I hope no one goes there but some surely will. I also wish that Berean was right about annihilation. However, I do not see that in the scripture.

Everlasting fire would mean destroyed forever

Spirits dont burn up.

See, the body of a Christ rejector, who is never born again......goes to the Grave or to the cremation furnace.
Its the SPIRIT, that is the REAL YOU.......who exists inside the container that is your dying body.......is what leaves the body, and faces Judgement for rejecting Christ (never born again), and enters Hell.
Spirits dont burn up....this is why the eternal judgment is FOREVER.

The vast majority of humans will spend eternity in the fire with Satan! Jesus said so. Nothing can change that!

We do have this to hope for:
Rv 7:9-10 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.

Well, if you serve the Lord Jesus Christ then your hope is that as many as possible be saved. Looks like you take some kind of demonic glee in that fact that many will not. So yeah, I exclude you from the "We"

The vast majority?

“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

Everyone who is in Hell........who went there today..........and will go there tomorrow.........now realize 2 things.

1.) Hell is real.

2.) Once you are in Hell, you now know that Jesus is REAL.... and you KNOW you are Damaned, and there is no way out of it. You dont get a 2nd chance..

See that Torture.,????? = MENTAL Torture.... and that is before you end up in the Lake of Fire.
On the day of ones death-all thought stops. The resurrection occurs at Rev 20. That has not occurred yet. The lake of fire= the second death= permanent death. Its not a literal eternal suffering. A God who is Love, merciful, could NEVER create a literal eternal suffering. We all make our choice( Deut 30:19= LIFE or DEATH.) Obeying proves it all. Imagine God torturing anyone. Gods justice scales prove no literal eternal suffering exists as well.

True, but what about the rest of the verse? Are we to take the cutting off our hand and foot literally? Or perhaps the fire simply means everlasting death, where there is in coming back, no resurrection.

Do you consider the references to eternal life as metaphoric?

Jn 6:54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

Do you think that we are to literally drink his blood? If eternal life, which is not symbolic, can be intertwined with a clearly metaphoric reference then why not eternal torment?

In fact, we know that Jesus was speaking of his blood metaphorically because of this:

Lev 7:27 Whatsoever soul it be that eateth any manner of blood, even that soul shall be cut off from his people.

Jesus would not tell us to do something that breaks the law.
