"Anyway, if you'd read through my posts in this thread, you'd know that I've already thoroughly answered this question. In short: No it is not necessary to obey God in order to remain His perfectly redeemed, justified, sanctified and adopted child...

You do here with my words what you do with God's word, redacting my statement to suit your bias and preconceptions and offering a contortion of the truth as a result.

I know you know this, whenever someone's interpretations of passages conflicts with plainly stated, clearly written Scripture, we know their understanding is incomplete.

One of my favorite passages concerning this topic is the one you alluded to, that He has sealed us unto the day of redemption. He's paid for us, and put His seal of ownership on us, sealed to show we are His property, to preserve His right of possession until the day He comes to retrieve His purchased possession. Who is able to unseal what God has sealed? No one!

Except you.

Behold,
In Matthew 24:13, it says, "But he who endures to the end shall be saved." This verse highlights the importance of enduring through hardships and remaining faithful until the end. Similarly, in Mark 13:13, it reads, "And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end shall be saved." Here, Jesus makes it clear that persecution and trials will come, but those who endure through it will be saved.

Revelation 2:10 adds to this by saying, "Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life." This passage emphasizes enduring even unto death, with the promise of eternal life for those who remain faithful.

Excellent Scripture.

Some more :

Adding verse 11 as well
Rev 2:10 Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and for ten days you will have tribulation. Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life.
Rev 2:11 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. The one who conquers will not be hurt by the second death.’

Filipp 2:12 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling,

2Tim 4:7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
Paul, you of all?

Matt 7:19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
Said to believers.

And so on.

There are countless of warnings, it's silly to ignore them, better believe in the whole package.

"endures to the end "

Of what?

"endures to the end""""" of what ???????????????????????????

To death of course.

Hebr 3:14 For we have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original confidence firm to the end.

Hebr 6:11 And we desire each one of you to show the same earnestness to have the full assurance of hope until the end,

Agreed 100%
I wonder WHY it's so difficult for some to state that, yes, we must obey God.
There must be a reason, but I don't know it.

You're quoting Romans 6:16
Yes sir.
I plan on presenting myself to our Lord...
I plan on obeying Him...
I scream this from the roof tops...
and when I don't, I ask forgiveness and carry on...

But NEVER are we to make such statements as that it's not necessary to obey God...
statements that could lead some to become lost.

Paul had a lot to say about these persons that preach a different gospel.
Jesus had a lot to say too.

Too bad some listen to modern day preachers instead of reading what Jesus taught in the pages of the NT.
It has led to a lack of reverential fear of GOD .
Gone and long gone are the days wherein paul once wrote
KNOWING the TERROR of GOD we persuade men .
Or it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living GOD .
And while i fully do understand that GOD desires the death of none but rather the wicked would repent
And that HE IS VERY LONG SUFFERING and full of mercy and compassion
THERE IS A REASON GOD did warn and remind folks to repent
THERE is a reason WHY CHRIST was quite grave and warned as well
ITS For our own good . WE DO need to behold BOTH the GOODNESS of GOD and THE severerity of GOD .
But they been busy omitting severity and warnings
AND that led to a massive creation of a FALSE GOODNESS OF GOD
A goodness which implies , worry not , live and let live, all is well , all shall be fine
for the road to GOD is broad indeed .
IF ONE omits either one , THE GOODNESS OF , and or the SEVERITY OF GOD
IN TRUTH THEY HAVE OMITTED BOTH . because a false version of the goodness of GOD they will and do preach .
A goodness that now has led NOT to repentance but to ACCEPTANCE
and it sure seems to be accepting more and more evil in these last hours
and it sure seems to be hating more than ever any TRUTH that exposes ITS SO CALLED LOVE and goodness
WE either preach ALL THE TRUTH OF GOD
but if we pick and choose what truth to preach and what to omit
WE NEVER WILL speak the truth , only a messed up watered down deadly version of GOD that darn sure AINT GOD .
