How does anyone receive Messiah whom they’ve never heard preach the gospel? They don’t. That’s Paul’s point in Romans 10:14.
Romans 10:13-17 KJV
13) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
14) How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
15) And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
16) But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?
17) So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Jesus speaking to you is most certainly the word of God.

Much love!

In the videos I've seen of Muslims having dreams or visions of Jesus, they didn't say they were directed to any particular church. They saw Jesus and became born again by receiving Him.
Me too. I mean, I've not watched videos about it, just the ones I've known.

Much love!

It happened to Paul.

Much love!

Paul was already a Jewish monotheist and he was already familiar with the Messiah’s preaching. That’s not the case with Muslims.

If Jesus isn’t preaching the gospel to them in the dreams then the dreams themselves aren’t making them disciples. As I mentioned earlier in the thread, it’s very common for the Muslim who has had a dream to be told by Jesus to meet with someone who would preach to them.

Why would Jesus send them to the Catholic church or Word of Faith churches?

Certainly. “Go see a guy who will teach you” isn’t Jesus preaching the gospel.

I‘m a Jewish monotheist. The “real Jesus” is a Jewish monotheist. I’m asking myself if the “Jesus” who appears in these dreams is the “real Jesus” or “another Jesus”?
Those I've known have each of them believed in Jesus being God the Son.

No, the "real Jesus" does NOT deny Himself.

I believe you.

Of course the “real Jesus” doesn’t deny himself.

***

“Hi. I’m Jesus. Go see the Catholic priest.” - I don’t believe that’s the “real” Jesus.

”Hi. I’m Jesus. Go see Kenneth Copeland.” - I don’t believe that’s the “real” Jesus.

That’s Peters’ point.

I’ve watched quite a few of these kinds of videos. In virtually all of them, the Muslim said that Jesus told him or her to meet with someone who would teach them; Jesus didn’t teach them in the dream.

Peters has seen them too and is complaining that often the Muslim is told to meet someone, and that someone turns out to be a Catholic or Word of Faith church member.

I have seen them say that. That’s not how disciples are made in scripture. That’s what makes me leery.
I believe these derams or visions that send people to see another are false ones, I saw many a few years ago where Jesus did convert them directly through visions and dreams. As for the possibility of muslims to receive visions and dreams there is a passage from Joel 2:28

Jol 2:28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:

Jol 2:29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.

Jol 2:30 And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.

Jol 2:31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.

Jol 2:32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.

“Over the past twenty years, a narrative has taken root in evangelical circles claiming that Jesus is personally appearing to Muslims in dreams and visions, leading them to salvation by the millions. It’s a story spread widely, crossing denominational lines - charismatics and non-charismatics alike have repeated it with little scrutiny. But is it true? And more importantly, is it biblical?

This isn’t just a theoretical question. I’ve been asked about it repeatedly while preaching and teaching in churches worldwide. So in this article, I want to tackle the issue head-on. …”

Here's part of this article:
"Where is the Gospel? There is no mention of the man’s sin, his guilt before a holy God, the substitutionary atonement of Christ, His death and resurrection, or the demand for repentance and faith. Without those, there is no Gospel.
If Jesus is appearing to Muslims to evangelize them directly, He’s doing a poor job of it. There’s no proclamation of truth. It’s a mystical experience divorced from the content of saving faith."

> How was Saul who became the Apostle Paul, the persecutor of Christians reached? He would never have received the gospel message from Peter's sermon, his mind was callous, corrupted ... he was an antichrist.
God, with certain individuals, reaches them directly, abruptly and gets their attention. The Holy Spirit works to draw each individual differently and has designed millions of circumstances, each one unique to us. Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus are inundated with their religion in their countries, cultures, families and so personal and abrupt divine appointments are necessary, because their environment forbids the gospel to even get close to them.
Paul was blinded and then he repented. Nebuchadnezzar lost his mind for seven years and ate like an animal. God uses extreme measures at times.
The Bible confirms that in the end times, before His return, men will dream dreams and have visions.

John MacArthur weighs in on the question. I think he’s right.

From my X / Twitter “For you” feed this morning -

“It’s finally here: A booklet to reach Muslims”

(Ray Comfort)

I thought of you @Debp when I saw the message and watched the short video. I don’t have a copy of the booklet but I would like to obtain one. (And will.)

P.S.

I just purchased it. ($1 + shipping.) I should receive it in the mail next week.

From my X / Twitter “For you” feed yesterday -

“I will never for get this conversation.

A Muslim man told me, ‘I’m 45 now. I can’t keep up with the 20-year-olds at the masjid. I’m slowing down … and honestly, I’m scared of dying. I’ve already lived half my life.’

I’ve heard this over and over from Muslims.

And every time, I go to the same place: Hebrews 2.

Because Hebrews 2 shows us that Christ doesn’t just forgive sins. He destroys the one who holds the power of death and frees us from the slavery of the fear of death. We no longer need to be afraid of death.

When I was Muslim, I didn’t have that level of assurance.

My assurance was to grind harder, repent harder, pray harder. But underneath it, there was always that question: What’s the point of my life? What’s really happening?

And then a Muslim sees this:

Christ conquers death.
Christ defeats Satan.
Christ removes the fear.

It becomes so real. Every time I share this with a Muslim, you can see it in their eyes, like, that is the grace of God. Grace is completely foreign to a Muslim. That is why my heart aches for them.”
