At the time of John 3:13 Jesus was still down here .... and yes .... at that point no Christians had yet gone to heaven .... the church was not even started yet.BiggAndyy said:John 3:13 "No one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from heaven--the Son of Man." This verse automatically cancels out anyone's experience of "going to heaven" and renders it unscriptural, unbiblical, and untruthful.
Theology trumps Experience every single time. Experience isn't even in the same ballpark as Theology.
Not only that ........ it looks like you forgot to read the rest of the verses ....... eg: ..... 3 Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”
In case you didnt know it BigAndy .... I am born again .... and I have seen the kingdom
Here is where I was for 30-40 seconds .....
22 But you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly, 23 to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God, the Judge of all, to the spirits of the righteous now made perfect, 24 to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.
I saw a departed christian loved one ..... she is now in spirit and perfect ...... she is made righteous because of Jesus .... she looked exactly like she did down here ..... only now perfect and without blemish.
I expect a lot of people will not beleive this just like John 3:12 said would happen ...... 12 I have spoken to you of earthly things and you do not believe; how then will you believe if I speak of heavenly things?
I happen to beleive in heavenly things BigAndy ..... as a matter of fact that is why I am a Christian
