Hi Ridgerunner, Your words:"America does not contain the blood of all that were slain upon the earth. For Babylon to contain the blood of all that were slain upon the earth she would have to exist from the time Cain slew Abel until the last person to be slain upon this earh is slain. Babylon cannot be constrained by time or location. Therefore Babylon cannot be America, because many that were slain were slain before America existed. Do you deny that Babylon contains the blood of all that were slain upon the earth."

I think you're looking at this with too broad a spectrum. As the harlot is within the context of the 70th week, so must the phrase, "all that were slain upon the earth" be considered within the context of the 70th week. One can not even blame a spiritual Babylon for all deaths from all time. If there is a "spiritual Babylon" it didn't come into being until some time after Noah and just like it took awhile for Christianity to spread across the earth, "spiritual Babylon" wasn't a global factor either. The only being who can be blamed for all deaths since the beginning of time would be satan. This verse is related to Rev. 17:6 and there hasn't always been saints and martyrs either. This verse is speaking of deaths within the period of the 70th week only, imo.

And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.

What you all need is to understand the word all.

In Rev. 18:24 the word 'pas' (all) is used and it means all those that were slain by 'her' upon the earth. It doesn't mean all the people of the entire world since the time of Cain. If the word 'holos' (all) was used it would likely mean the entire earth.

Is it that whatever we do not agree with or understand completely we should deny? Who among you is wiser than Solomon and who is it in another post that said eat the meat and spit out the bones? So perhaps one is not entirely in agreement and yet parts they feed on as meat and so promote others to understand. That we can indulge in others perspectives without allowing thier understandings to consume our ability for personal thought is a good thing. The indulgance of someone elses ideas to the point of consuming our ability to rationalize outside that other's perspecttve caused compliance in such orginazitions as james jiones, charlie manson and even the up-coming beast.
Don't or allow another's promotions to consume you nor deny the truths that are revealed and that means if someone has a good idea you can use the parts you find as meat and pitch that parts that are bones. Does that mean one should promote other's teaching though not all of it is just? Of course, for only God knows everything and he.. God promotes the use of teachers, ministers, prophets etc... though God knows theey do not have everyting 100% right. If they did have it 100% right then prophecy could have been written as stereo instructions including even the name of the beast and the name of the false prophet and the name of the false messiah and the year month day and hour events take place. But then, if this was all laid out that way... our free will would not exist.
