Judgment on the Earth
Isaiah 24, The Forgotton Tribulation chapter.

"Behold, the Lord makes the earth empty and makes it waste,
Distorts its surface
And scatters abroad its inhabitants.
And it shall be:
As with the people, so with the priest;
As with the servant, so with his master;
As with the maid, so with her mistress;
As with the buyer, so with the seller;
As with the lender, so with the borrower;
As with the creditor, so with the debtor.
The land shall be entirely emptied and utterly plundered,
For the Lord has spoken this word.

The earth mourns and fades away,
The world languishes and fades away;
The haughty people of the earth languish.
The earth is also defiled under its inhabitants,
Because they have transgressed the laws,
Changed the ordinance,
Broken the everlasting covenant.
Therefore the curse has devoured the earth,
And those who dwell in it are desolate.
Therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned,
And few men are left.

The new wine fails, the vine languishes,
All the merry-hearted sigh.
The mirth of the tambourine ceases,
The noise of the jubilant ends,
The joy of the harp ceases.
They shall not drink wine with a song;
Strong drink is bitter to those who drink it.
The city of confusion is broken down;
Every house is shut up, so that none may go in.
There is a cry for wine in the streets,
All joy is darkened,
The mirth of the land is gone.
In the city desolation is left,
And the gate is stricken with destruction.
When it shall be thus in the midst of the land among the people,
It shall be like the shaking of an olive tree,
Like the gleaning of grapes when the vintage is done.

They shall lift up their voice, they shall sing;
For the majesty of the Lord
They shall cry aloud from the sea.
Therefore glorify the Lord in the dawning light,
The name of the Lord God of Israel in the coastlands of the sea.
From the ends of the earth we have heard songs:
“Glory to the righteous!”
But I said, “I am ruined, ruined!
Woe to me!
The treacherous dealers have dealt treacherously,
Indeed, the treacherous dealers have dealt very treacherously.”

Fear and the pit and the snare
Are upon you, O inhabitant of the earth.
And it shall be
That he who flees from the noise of the fear
Shall fall into the pit,
And he who comes up from the midst of the pit
Shall be caught in the snare;
For the windows from on high are open,
And the foundations of the earth are shaken.

The earth is violently broken,
The earth is split open,
The earth is shaken exceedingly.
The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard,
And shall totter like a hut;
Its transgression shall be heavy upon it,
And it will fall, and not rise again.

It shall come to pass in that day
That the Lord will punish on high the host of exalted ones,
And on the earth the kings of the earth.
They will be gathered together,
As prisoners are gathered in the pit,
And will be shut up in the prison;
After many days they will be punished.
Then the moon will be disgraced
And the sun ashamed;
For the Lord of hosts will reign
On Mount Zion and in Jerusalem
And before His elders, gloriously.

In the middle of this aweful destruction, where-in 1/3rd of all mankind is killed, & millions more, we hear & see this:

"They shall lift up their voice, they shall sing;
For the majesty of the Lord
They shall cry aloud from the sea."

Therefore glorify the Lord in the dawning light,
The name of the Lord God of Israel in the coastlands of the sea.
From the ends of the earth we have heard songs:
“Glory to the righteous!”

If the church has been "raptured", who then are these worshipping God?

I disagree...slightly.

The verses so aptly pulled are about the effects of the Wrath of the VIals being poured out on the earth, the mourning of Israel at their original rejection of Messiah, and the beginning of the Millenium.

It will be a bit grim, because so much damage has been done, but those who come through it all, a precious few Jews and Gentiles who did not take the mark, survived the outpouring of Wrath, and have knelt to Yah'shua will come into the Kingdom, where a new beginning is made under Yah'shua haMashiach haMelech.

Many will be destroyed, and the earth needing mending, but joy and thanksgiving will return, among the praises of Yah'shua, and the healing of those who remain.

Yes, for the Vials of wrath have been poured out, and few escape that Wrath, except that Yah'shua has a Kingdom, and a few of the Covenantal peoples, the Jews, and the Noahides that have not taken the Mark, will fill it.

It will not be an easy, joyous time, but a time of difficulty, and learning new ways, and bending to the King of Kings, Yah'shua haMashiach haMelech.

They that remain are ruled by a rod of Iron, and the earth is a curse needing mending

So many will find what the Mark really meant, and all that they have lost for desiring their own way, by walking in the pride that says, I need no one.

Those that Adonai has chosen, to begin again with, those few, remnant crumbs of Judaism, and a scattered handful of Gentiles that ran for the hills at the first signs of a global, god-run empire, and the very few innocents, so far away from civilization, and the foolishness of man, that they only noticed that world had come undone, until Yah'shua called them by name.

The Jews will worship Mashiach, but only when they see Him come in Glory, as well as those that are unmarked that YHVH protected, here and there, scattered everywhere. It is a new beginning, but not an instant time of joy, except for us that are with Yah'shua, ever with Adonai.

Thank you for the verses. It is always a joy to find prophecies that are yet to be fulfilled in Yah'shua.

Where is the marker which establishes these various verses happen after WWIII? It is not there!

Furthermore, I can read this chapter - and you have to remember that Isaiah in its original form was not divided into the chapters we're used to - from verses 1-13 as one prophecy, and from verses 14-20 another.

And I know from the verses about Jesus that Isaiah was not written in strict chronological order providing an undivided sequence of events, but rather, it is more like a collage of pictures where each one is a true snapshot in time, but not strictly related to the other pictures around it.

So while the people in the West and the East can be Christians, this particular culling of Scripture does not establish a lack of Rapture.

-- Think for just a moment.

Hundreds of millions of people worldwide, both Christians and non-Christians, know about the idea of the Rapture.

Tens if not hundreds of millions of people who consider themselves Christians but aren't really living Christians lives believe in the Rapture
Hundreds of Millions of people more have heard of the concept of the Rapture and what will happen both during and after but don't believe in God so ignore it completely.

IF the Rapture hits and takes the millions of Spirit-filled, God loving Christians (even if it is just a few million), those tens and hundreds of millions will either suddenly or in the very near future realize what happened and that they missed the boat.

They will immediately pick up the Bible (as well as scores of the other books and writings about the Rapture) and confirm that those who are left behind are in deep trouble.
It is literally going to be a world of hurt.

Now, the world isn't just going to sit by idly:

-- The gov'ts around the world will come up with some sort of (semi) plausible explanation of what happened and millions will buy it.
Maybe not because they believe it, but because they want it to be anything other than what they know it is.

-- Scores of religious leaders from all denominations will say that it couldn't have been the Rapture because they are Christians and they are still here.
Therefore, it COULDN'T have been the Rapture. Again, many will fall for this, even if the deception is self-inflicted.

-- Many will realize it is real and that anyone who choses to follow Christ will be putting their lives and the lives of their families in danger.
They will decide it is too hard or not worth it, take the mark of the beast, and figure they will take their chances with God later, if and when the chance arises.

-- Many living in areas with almost zero Christian influence (the Middle East, large parts of India, etc.) will not have noticed anyone disappearing so
they will poo-poo the idea than anything took place at all.

But the REST....

Millions of people who thought they were Christians and realied too late that they weren't living correctly, as well as millions of people who weren't Christians but, seeing what is to come and realizing through the event of the Rapture itself that God Almighty is indeed real, will turn their hearts to him.

Many will find the ability to stand strong in Christ, resist, accept prison and punishment like the first Christians did, and stay faithful to God until he returns.

THOSE would then be the ones who "shall lift up their voice, they shall sing;
For the majesty of the Lord"

I am curious as to why you think that if the Rapture did indeed happen,
none of the billions who are 'left behind' would not then realize what happened and turn to Christ.

We are going through a Tribulation, an incredable time of testing, that the Bible says will incompass the entire Earth. Multitudes will overcome in it.

"After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;

And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.
And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God,
Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.
And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?
And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which CAME OUT OF great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb."

THEY WENT IN; THEY CAME OUT.

"And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.
And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints."

There is a beast Anti-christ coming who is bereft of mercy, & worships death, & there are those who will not bow down no matter the cost.
