I just don't think that these illegal immigrants understand what sort of life awaits for them here when they come illegally.
How they are going to be taken advantage of by many people...how no one can or will truly help them. The only jobs available to them are the worst in any society...drug dealing or prostitution.
Only the young guys can be taken advantage of by some construction work or farming work...but a lot of those jobs are drying up too and taken over by others.
Things aren't like they were 30 years ago anymore.
They were taken advantage of by the Coyotes whom many of them enlist to traffic them to our border.
They were taken advantage of in their homeland, which is why they thought to leave and go north to America. And because the Leftist policies with regard to illegals , as the illegal traveler knows when they set out, and is likely the reason for their making the journey by the thousands, makes of non-effect our federal laws that prosecute illegal entry.
The "Catch and Release" program is misleading in its very title, if one isn't aware of its application. No, ICE and Immigration, Border Patrol, don't catch the illegal(s) and then release them back south of the border. Sounds like it though doesn't it?
No, C&R when applied is their catching the illegal, processing them as such, giving them worthless paperwork and an appointment date to return to sort out their status since they were caught entering America without proper authority, and then releasing them INTO AMERICA!
Where I'm sure they've obtained a calendar so as to mark that scheduled appearance date before our immigration system.
Meanwhile, thanks to Leftist inducements to invade this country, now that they've been released into it as an illegal member of that thousands of number invasion force, again, they now have free cell phone, all the federal funds they can handle, free housing, free health care, a tax free job. And if they have a baby while here, when the majority of illegal entrants identify as Catholic and that means, no birth control, but lots of kids, they get to invoke our 14th amendment, which it was never meant for, and stay! Because they've anchored themselves here due to their reproduction as illegals on our soil.
We're the only nation on the planet Earth that allows itself not to just be invaded, but reward the invaders.
Years ago in the mid-90's a guy who was well versed in trends was asked about the illegal immigration problem even then. And what he'd suggest happen so that American's who are citizens, and work for their rewards, could come even close to the rewards granted illegals. This was remember, in the 90's. Their rewards and inducements are greater now.
This man said there was a sure fire way any American could gain more for free from government than we have now as the working class.
First, enter Mexico. Renounce your American citizenship and obtain Mexican citizenship. Live there for a year or two.
After that period of time, cross illegally into America. Identify as a Mexican.

And so called refugees?
Are not entitled to enter any country that gives them refuge and remain forever! Refugee policy, per America, dictates as soon as the threat in their homeland abates, they're to return. And, further, they're not entitled to be flown to America from lets say, Syria, as was done under Obama. Rather, international law states they are to seek/be granted refugee status by the nearest safe land to that of their homeland that is in conflict.
I.E. All those Syrians, many who were Muslims and radicals, but how do you tell? They're not tattooed, should have been given refuge in Saudi Arabia! God knows SA had the vacant Haaj housing and supplies to sustain that.
But instead, they invaded parts of Europe and America.
And guess what? There aren't any flight caravans loaded with those gathered refugees and heading back to Syria anytime soon. Anytime, ever!
Don't feel sorry for illegals and refugees who are fostered upon the west due to the Leftist agenda.
Feel sorry for the tax payers and innocent citizens who suffer the presence of the bad ones among them.
