this was recently asked me on general christian forum so i will reply where every one can view it..
It seems many of your posts are denominational related.
Denomination is not an important part of my faith and I wonder why it is important to you.

======================================================================
i take it that he did not quite like that i try in most posts to identyfy my self as a lutheran Christian
being lutheran and identyfying my self with that is a big part of my Christian faith; because lutherans also have faith in the promises Jesus made about the Lords supper and also baptism also about heaven and many other things ..
weve been told by protestants were to catholic to be concidered protestant and weve been x communicated by the roman catholic church because were to protestant .

so we do believe differently about many things than perhaps you do..

and we sure would not want to make some one think we believe like they do about every thing because that could become embarasing for them and us .when they found out differently..

latter when i find it i will post a real funny video about this whole matter ..and hopefuly we can all laugh with each other about this matter and understand the point im making..

here's the video.

Maybe he was trying to point out that we are already under the umbrella of God's family, anything beyond that is a religious affiliation?

It is quit amazing to see many different denominations coming together and being the Body of Christ, putting the label of their denomination aside and just claiming Christ for the good He has called us to do. This is what I think is important.

When we become too heavily involved in our denominations and how they do things, their traditions, it seems to take away from the organic relationship we have in Christ.

I see nothing wrong with a person explaining what that person's denomination believes.

At the same time, I see nothing wrong with comparing the beliefs of a denomination to the teachings of the Bible.

Trouble begins when one insists that one's denomination is the final authority on what the Bible teaches.
