Also what is being hid by many here, is the fact that Genesis 49:10 is specific that the throne of David, the royal sceptre, would not leave the tribe of Judah UNTIL... Shiloh comes. So they can't even read simple English properly because of allowing some stupid agenda of man to get in the way!
Gen 49:1-2
49 And Jacob called unto his sons, and said, "Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the last days.
2 Gather yourselves together, and hear, ye sons of Jacob; and hearken unto Israel your father."
KJV
That Genesis 49 Chapter starts off with Jacob telling his twelve sons to gather around so he could tell them what would befall them in "the last days". Apostles Peter and James gave examples of the "last days" involving the time all the way up to Christ's future return (James 5:3; 2 Peter 3:3). So that 'last days' phrase isn't only about the time of Christ's 1st coming like men's agendas wrongly assume. And the fact that Jacob is revealing these prophecies for the scattered ten tribes in those "last days" also shows men's traditions are wrong with thinking that the ten tribes are truly gone and no more, especially since God showed in Amos 9 and Ezekiel 37 that He is going to join the ten tribes back with Judah in the land of promise to their fathers in final.
Gen 49:10
10 The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.
KJV
Note carefully what the above verse is declaring. That "sceptre" is about a wand given a king or queen at their coronation. It represents royal rule.
Notice the verse says that "sceptre" won't leave the tribe of Judah's possession UNTIL... "Shiloh come". Shiloh is put for our Lord Jesus Christ. And then the kicker with the last part which even those posting in this thread INTENTIONALLY LEFT OUT...
"... and unto him shall the gathering of the people be."
You tell me brethren in Christ, at Lord Jesus' 1st coming, did anyone go to Heaven with Him when He ascended to The Father to sit upon the right hand of The Father's throne, where Jesus still is today, expecting until all His enemies are made His footstool?
!NOPE! That gathering... of the people to Christ, His faithful saints, has NOT happened yet today, because it is about Christ's future literal PHYSICAL COMING to gather His faithful Church! And that is only about His future 2nd coming!
This means that royal sceptre, AND as lawgiver regarding Judah (Jews), is STILL HERE ON EARTH TODAY, SOMEWHERE...
We know it is no longer in the holy land in Jerusalem, and I am speaking specifically about king David's earthly throne, because that is the "sceptre" that this is about. Moreover, in the Book of Samuel God promised David that one of his seed would always sit upon his throne until all generations. That includes today's generation ON EARTH folks. Lord Jesus even revealed this in the Matthew 19:28 verse telling us WHEN He will inherit David's throne...
Matt 19:28
28 And Jesus said unto them, "Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed Me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of His glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel."
KJV
When Apostle Peter asked Lord Jesus what they, the Apostles, shall have for forsaking all and instead following Jesus, the above was Lord Jesus' answer. Jesus promised them that they each would sit upon a throne judging over the twelve tribes of Israel. Has that happened yet today brethren??
NOPE! of course not. The nation of Israel is still to this day broken in half as "two nations" like God's Word reveals, and won't be put back together until Shiloh (Jesus) returns, and then to Him shall the gathering of the people be (believing Israelites and believing Gentiles, Christ's Church).
Thus our Lord Jesus Christ is NOT sitting upon David's throne in Heaven right now. He is sitting on the right hand of The Father's throne in Heaven right now. He has yet come to inherit it, for it is a LITERAL, PHYSICAL THRONE, not some philosophical mumbo-jumbo that the seminaries made up just because they don't yet understand about David's throne because God has yet to show them. But God has shown those of His servants that do... listen to Him in His Word of Truth instead of man.
