Now I'm not sure if you are really Christian or not? Are you? Or thinking of changing to a different religion or what?

That's a weird question.

Yes, I am a Christian. Although many are not really comfortable with that label, myself included.
Too many of the Christians I know of I would NOT want to be associated with. (the ugly Christian)
Some prefer to be called "Christ follower". But can anyone really fulfill that claim completely? (sigh)

Is there something about this parody that you find offensive? (I hope so)

--- PARODY ---

Person #1: Receive the free gift of eternal life.
Person #2: No thanks.
Person #1: I said it was free.
Person #2: There must be some strings attached.
Person #1: Well, of course.
Person #2: It's not a free gift then, right?
Person #1: You had better take it... or else!
Person #2: Say what?
Person #1: Otherwise you will be incinerated!
Person #2: What sort of free gift is that?

Indeed.

Spiritually offensive, yes.

It sure sounds like the author of the OP is putting himself on the same level as Jesus Himself.

You didnt give me any faith statements about the Lord that I asked you.

Will you or not? Yes or no.

No I didnt miss it. But that's not a faith statement!

It's a...A Spiritual Pronoun! It tells me you seek to identify as a Christian, that's a good sign. But it's still not any statement of Faith. Can you not see that?

Let me try rephrasing the question for you:

1 Peter 3:15
15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:../KJV

And here is the same verse in the NLT for clarity.

15 But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer(A) to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope(B) that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,../NLT

I'm asking for you to give to me, your Brother in Christ for what reason do you have for the hope inside of you and faith in the Lord Jesus?

You "seem to be" avoiding the question? Eh?

To be clear, I typically avoid nonexistent questions. For obvious reasons.

Why call me a "Brother in Christ" if I have failed to prove it to you?

You seem to be overlooking some of my answer posts.
Did you read my "This is how it began..." testimony?

Why call me a "Brother in Christ" if I have failed to prove it to you?

Because that is between you and God alone and is none of my beeswax. You dont have to prove anything to me, ultimately. But I asked you to see what you would say. You profes to be a brother in Christ, so I'll take that on it's face as true and address you as such. Or else risk disparaging one of God's people's faith? Not my beeswax.

However, just between us men sitting and talking, sure I wonder about you based on many things you have said, and not said. I'm not judging you, we're just a couple brothers in Christ sittin and jawing. And the thought occured to me...I wnder what this brother would say if I asked about his faith and hope like scripture say to do.
And you're supposed to be ready with an answer and have given none!
So in a way, wow brother. Are we really brothers? Can you see how that might make some brothers & Sisters spiritual spidey sense go crazy?

Oh yeah, that was the one liner you gave me.

You asked if I wanted more? Yes I do, I know you like to write so I said, hey give me a paragraph off the top of your head without scripture or copy/past or links to distractions, lol.

And you still havent done it.

I also asked you:

Did Jesus come in the flesh?
Was Jesus crucified?
Was Jesus raised from the dead?

1 John 4:1-3
1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.../KJV

You see? the avoidance to the direct question seems to cast a shadow upon what you are professing. You could type out the answer to this one with one hand in 30 seconds, lol. But you wont! Why not, or is that my answer?

Yeshua Kept His Custom Of The Sabbath/Scripture
His custom was evangelizing lost Sabbatarians.

Luke 4:16 KJV
And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was,
he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.

28 And all they in the synagogue, when they heard these things, were filled with wrath,
29 And rose up, and thrust him out of the city, and led him unto the brow of the hill whereon
their city was built, that they might cast him down headlong.

33 And in the synagogue there was a man, which had a spirit of an unclean devil,
and cried out with a loud voice,
34 Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth?
art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art; the Holy One of God.
35 And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him.
And when the devil had thrown him in the midst, he came out of him, and hurt him not.
36 And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying,
What a word is this! for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits,
and they come out.

Christian: Do you believe in the Bible?
Skeptic: Who wrote the Books of Moses?
Christian: Well, Moses obviously. ???
Skeptic: If Adam wasn't a literal human then he didn't literally sin.
Christian: Adam's transgression was the original sin.
Skeptic: If Adam didn't literally sin, then there is no original sin.
Christian: We were all born sinners.
Skeptic: If there is no original sin then being born in Adam's race does not make you a sinner.
Christian: Well... ???
Skeptic: If we are not redeemed from original sin by Christ's payment of the death penalty...
Christian: I suppose, but...
Skeptic: Then the Atonement was of none effect.
Christian: Say what?
Skeptic: If the Atonement was of none effect, we are lost in our sin and awaiting judgment of our works.
Christian: That can't be right... ???
Skeptic: We all fall short of the perceived standard and stand condemned.
Christian: Well, yes, but...
Skeptic: Faith in Christ can't help us, the Atonement is null and void.
Christian: What? !!!
Skeptic: Where does that leave us?
Christian: We need to take the Genesis account as literal history.
Skeptic: Indications are that it is a mythology.
Christian: A mythology means it isn't true!
Skeptic: There is your problem.

[
What a mess we've made of theology.

I think I said to someone here the other day that even if Genesis didn't exist, we would still know that all men are sinners... because we have eyes.
