I would guess that the worst of the hate is coming sooner rather than later according to what I see around me today. I live in what has been called the "Bible Belt" but that is an old designation applied to this region first quite a few years ago. Oklahoma to me, is not worse than California was to me when I was growing up in that state and only visited wonderful beautiful Oklahoma once in a great while. Of course I was young and naive in those days but even the superficial appearance has diminished if you get my drift.

The Church really started to grow when the early Christians were persecuted in Jerusalem and had to flee for their lives, taking the gospel message with them and passing it on, and passing it on etc.

We have had a long time of acceptance but things are already beginning to turn against Christians in the west. But we have Christians from other countries arriving on our shores and seeking asylum from persecution and bringing with them the gospel message.
