A new poll in Florida shows Democratic challenger Joe Biden opening up a double-digit lead over President Trump as new cases of the coronavirus surge in the battleground state.

The presumptive Democratic presidential nominee tops Trump 51-38 percent among registered voters in Florida, according to a Quinnipiac University survey conducted July 16-20 and released on Thursday.

U.S. Party Preferences Have Swung Sharply Toward Democrats
WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Since January, Americans' party preferences have shifted dramatically in the Democratic Party's direction. What had been a two-percentage-point Republican advantage in U.S. party identification and leaning has become an 11-point Democratic advantage, with more of that movement reflecting a loss in Republican identification and leaning (down eight points) than a gain in Democratic identification and leaning (up five points).

Currently, half of U.S. adults identify as Democrats (32%) or are independents who lean toward the Democratic Party (18%). Meanwhile, 39% identify as Republicans (26%) or are Republican leaners (13%).

Gallup has been compromised and corrupted by the Democrats since 2016 if not since 2008. As have all the fake pollsters. Do you recall that Hillary would win hands down according to the bogus polls? It is high time that some honest polling was done in the States.

Not surprising. There had been a democrat in the WH for 8 years, and the previous 2, the republican adminstration had pulled us into the deepest economic turndown since the Great Depression.

Trick question. They couldn't do that, because there is no such person. You guys first argued that Biden couldn't win because the leftists in the democrat party wouldn't accept a moderate, and now you're claiming he's a communist. You'd do a lot better if you settled on one story and quit switching back and forth.

You think you'll ever see Trump doing that? And yes, I know, Trump is old. So is Biden. But Trump has trouble walking down ramps and holding water glasses, while Biden goes bicycling.

And Biden's plan to cope with the pandemic would have gotten us out of it by now, while Trump's plan was to inject ourselves with disinfectant.
