Regarding "Adonay vs. Adoniy," I know they are technically different in meaning, particularly in how they are used and pronounced. However, if one drops the vowel pointing as in an Isra'eliy newspaper, show me the difference when reading them. The only way one would know which is which is CONTEXT.

And, you KNOW that there are root words to any family of words in Hebrew - the base, 3-letter, root word from which all the rest spring. And, the root word for "Adonay" and "Adoniy" and even "Adown" IS "Adon" or "Eden" (not "`Eden"), spelled "alef-dalet-nun (sofit)." Thus, its meaning is FUNDAMENTAL to the meanings of the others, even "Adonay"!

Secondly, "adamah" is simply the "dirt." "Erets" is the "ground" or the "field" or the "land" or the "Land." One doesn't have to go all "spiritually silly" to see the difference.

Oh, and I understand "malaT," too. It's the word Isra'elis use for a hen laying an egg and it was used so in Isaiah 34:15:

I've done enough farming and been on my grandfather's farm enough to know how chicken eggs are laid. Initially, they don't have that hard of shells until they've dried out a little after being laid. When the hen is ready to lay the egg, they slip right out (usually with a loud cluck). In fact, that is a good word to use in translation, "to slip," because it is also used for "escaping" such as when the messengers came to `Iyov (Job) to tell him about his losses, it is the word they used for their escape; they alone "slipped away." It could even be the word used when popping the seeds out of a pomegranate.

I long for the day I can make aliyah, but right now, the only way I could make aliyah is if the Messiah calls me home to Isra'el.

And, today, we TOTALLY misread this verse and misapply it! As I've said before, "salvation" and "saved" are the WRONG WORDS to use when one is referring to God's justification of an individual also called "being born again" and "to whom God does not impute sin" and rather "imputes righteousness." The words "salvation" and "saved" should be reserved for the rescue of God's people, Isra'el, when He returns and fights for them in the LAND. It is a NATIONAL RESCUE, not an individual justification to which the prophecies refer.

Problem is, that translation is NOT... even close, and you put your stamp of approval on it, and then began to use Scripture to try infer an idea those Scriptures aren't really about.

One must be very... careful on how they use the Joel 2:32 Scripture, particularly that part of, "... for in Mount Zion and Jerusalem there will prove to be the escaped ones, just as Jehovah has said, and in among the survivors..."

Not sure if it was you or not, but that Scripture has been well worn out here by Jews that are falsey being taught to flee to Jerusalem for the tribulation for safety. Your Scripture comparisons point... to that wrong idea.

And the idea there is not escape, but deliverance. For example, the Rev.3 idea of Christ keeping His elect from the "hour of temptation" (tribulation event of the coming pseudo-Christ) does NOT mean physical escape. It means spiritual deliverance from it, not being made subject to the temptation itself, even while others on earth fall to it.

Furthermore, that Joel 2 Scripture of which Peter only... quoted a small portion of on Pentecost, was only as an 'example' for the very end. It was in fact NOT fulfilled on Pentecost, simply because it is for the very end of this world for the tribulation timing.

The KJV "And it shall come to pass" is a more accurate rendering than your New World "And it must occur...".

The idea of "And it shall come to pass" reveals the events just prior to that verse have to occur first, and then having passed. In other words, the Joel 2:32 verse is pointing to Christ's coming to gather His Church that remained faithful by calling on The Name of The LORD. And their deliverance is then TO... Mount Zion in Jerusalem when He brings them there to destroy His enemies on that "great and the terrible day of the LORD".

NO deliverance in... Jerusalem, PRIOR to that timing for Christ's saints.

19 And ye shall eat fat till ye be full, and drink blood till ye be drunken, of my sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you.
20 Thus ye shall be filled at my table with horses and chariots, with mighty men, and with all men of war, saith the Lord God.
21 And I will set my glory among the heathen, and all the heathen shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them.
22 So the house of Israel shall know that I am the Lord their God from that day and forward.
23 And the heathen shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity: because they trespassed against me, therefore hid I my face from them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies: so fell they all by the sword.
24 According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions have I done unto them, and hid my face from them.
25 Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy name;
26 After that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made them afraid.
27 When I have brought them again from the people, and gathered them out of their enemies' lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations;
28 Then shall they know that I am the Lord their God, which cause them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but I have gathered them unto their own land, and have left none of them any more there.
29 Neither will I hide my face any more from them: for I have poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord God.

9 Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the Lord are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein.

20 But I will remove far off from you the northern army, and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, with his face toward the east sea, and his hinder part toward the utmost sea, and his stink shall come up, and his ill savour shall come up, because he hath done great things.
21 Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the Lord will do great things.
22 Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength.
23 Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.
24 And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the fats shall overflow with wine and oil.
25 And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.
26 And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.
27 And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the Lord your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.
28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.
30 And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.
31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the Lord come.
32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lord hath said, and in the remnant whom the Lord shall call.
3:1 For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem,
2 I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.
3 And they have cast lots for my people; and have given a boy for an harlot, and sold a girl for wine, that they might drink.
4 Yea, and what have ye to do with me, O Tyre, and Zidon, and all the coasts of Palestine? will ye render me a recompence? and if ye recompence me, swiftly and speedily will I return your recompence upon your own head;
5 Because ye have taken my silver and my gold, and have carried into your temples my goodly pleasant things:
6 The children also of Judah and the children of Jerusalem have ye sold unto the Grecians, that ye might remove them far from their border.
7 Behold, I will raise them out of the place whither ye have sold them, and will return your recompence upon your own head:
8 And I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hand of the children of Judah, and they shall sell them to the Sabeans, to a people far off: for the Lord hath spoken it.
9 Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up:
10 Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong.
11 Assemble yourselves, and come, all ye heathen, and gather yourselves together round about: thither cause thy mighty ones to come down, O Lord.
12 Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about.
13 Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great.
14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision.
15 The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.
16 The Lord also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the Lord will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel.
17 So shall ye know that I am the Lord your God dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain: then shall Jerusalem be holy, and there shall no strangers pass through her any more.
18 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the mountains shall drop down new wine, and the hills shall flow with milk, and all the rivers of Judah shall flow with waters, and a fountain shall come forth of the house of the Lord, and shall water the valley of Shittim.
19 Egypt shall be a desolation, and Edom shall be a desolate wilderness, for the violence against the children of Judah, because they have shed innocent blood in their land.
20 But Judah shall dwell for ever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation.
21 For I will cleanse their blood that I have not cleansed: for the Lord dwelleth in Zion.

14 And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them.

17 But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.
18 And the house of Jacob shall be a fire, and the house of Joseph a flame, and the house of Esau for stubble, and they shall kindle in them, and devour them; and there shall not be any remaining of the house of Esau; for the Lord hath spoken it.
19 And they of the south shall possess the mount of Esau; and they of the plain the Philistines: and they shall possess the fields of Ephraim, and the fields of Samaria: and Benjamin shall possess Gilead.
20 And the captivity of this host of the children of Israel shall possess that of the Canaanites, even unto Zarephath; and the captivity of Jerusalem, which is in Sepharad, shall possess the cities of the south.
21 And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the Lord's.

8 And thou, O tower of the flock, the strong hold of the daughter of Zion, unto thee shall it come, even the first dominion; the kingdom shall come to the daughter of Jerusalem.
9 Now why dost thou cry out aloud? is there no king in thee? is thy counsellor perished? for pangs have taken thee as a woman in travail.
10 Be in pain, and labour to bring forth, O daughter of Zion, like a woman in travail: for now shalt thou go forth out of the city, and thou shalt dwell in the field, and thou shalt go even to Babylon; there shalt thou be delivered; there the Lord shall redeem thee from the hand of thine enemies.
11 Now also many nations are gathered against thee, that say, Let her be defiled, and let our eye look upon Zion.
12 But they know not the thoughts of the Lord, neither understand they his counsel: for he shall gather them as the sheaves into the floor.
13 Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion: for I will make thine horn iron, and I will make thy hoofs brass: and thou shalt beat in pieces many people: and I will consecrate their gain unto the Lord, and their substance unto the Lord of the whole earth.
5:1 Now gather thyself in troops, O daughter of troops: he hath laid siege against us: they shall smite the judge of Israel with a rod upon the cheek.
2 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.
3 Therefore will he give them up, until the time that she which travaileth hath brought forth: then the remnant of his brethren shall return unto the children of Israel.
4 And he shall stand and feed in the strength of the Lord, in the majesty of the name of the Lord his God; and they shall abide: for now shall he be great unto the ends of the earth.
5 And this man shall be the peace, when the Assyrian shall come into our land: and when he shall tread in our palaces, then shall we raise against him seven shepherds, and eight principal men.
6 And they shall waste the land of Assyria with the sword, and the land of Nimrod in the entrances thereof: thus shall he deliver us from the Assyrian, when he cometh into our land, and when he treadeth within our borders.
7 And the remnant of Jacob shall be in the midst of many people as a dew from the Lord, as the showers upon the grass, that tarrieth not for man, nor waiteth for the sons of men.
8 And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the Gentiles in the midst of many people as a lion among the beasts of the forest, as a young lion among the flocks of sheep: who, if he go through, both treadeth down, and teareth in pieces, and none can deliver.
9 Thine hand shall be lifted up upon thine adversaries, and all thine enemies shall be cut off.
10 And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord, that I will cut off thy horses out of the midst of thee, and I will destroy thy chariots:
11 And I will cut off the cities of thy land, and throw down all thy strong holds:
12 And I will cut off witchcrafts out of thine hand; and thou shalt have no more soothsayers:
13 Thy graven images also will I cut off, and thy standing images out of the midst of thee; and thou shalt no more worship the work of thine hands.
14 And I will pluck up thy groves out of the midst of thee: so will I destroy thy cities.
15 And I will execute vengeance in anger and fury upon the heathen, such as they have not heard.

15 The Lord hath taken away thy judgments, he hath cast out thine enemy: the king of Israel, even the Lord, is in the midst of thee: thou shalt not see evil any more.
16 In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem, Fear thou not: and to Zion, Let not thine hands be slack.
17 The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.
18 I will gather them that are sorrowful for the solemn assembly, who are of thee, to whom the reproach of it was a burden.
19 Behold, at that time I will undo all that afflict thee: and I will save her that halteth, and gather her that was driven out; and I will get them praise and fame in every land where they have been put to shame.
20 At that time will I bring you again, even in the time that I gather you: for I will make you a name and a praise among all people of the earth, when I turn back your captivity before your eyes, saith the Lord.

11 But now I will not be unto the residue of this people as in the former days, saith the Lord of hosts.
12 For the seed shall be prosperous; the vine shall give her fruit, and the ground shall give her increase, and the heavens shall give their dew; and I will cause the remnant of this people to possess all these things.
13 And it shall come to pass, that as ye were a curse among the heathen, O house of Judah, and house of Israel; so will I save you, and ye shall be a blessing: fear not, but let your hands be strong.
14 For thus saith the Lord of hosts; As I thought to punish you, when your fathers provoked me to wrath, saith the Lord of hosts, and I repented not:
15 So again have I thought in these days to do well unto Jerusalem and to the house of Judah: fear ye not.
16 These are the things that ye shall do; Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbour; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates:
17 And let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbour; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, saith the Lord.
18 And the word of the Lord of hosts came unto me, saying,
19 Thus saith the Lord of hosts; The fast of the fourth month, and the fast of the fifth, and the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the tenth, shall be to the house of Judah joy and gladness, and cheerful feasts; therefore love the truth and peace.
20 Thus saith the Lord of hosts; It shall yet come to pass, that there shall come people, and the inhabitants of many cities:
21 And the inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying, Let us go speedily to pray before the Lord, and to seek the Lord of hosts: I will go also.
22 Yea, many people and strong nations shall come to seek the Lord of hosts in Jerusalem, and to pray before the Lord.
23 Thus saith the Lord of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you.

4 In that day, saith the Lord, I will smite every horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness: and I will open mine eyes upon the house of Judah, and will smite every horse of the people with blindness.
5 And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be my strength in the Lord of hosts their God.
6 In that day will I make the governors of Judah like an hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem.
7 The Lord also shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem do not magnify themselves against Judah.
8 In that day shall the Lord defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the Lord before them.
9 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.
11 In that day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem, as the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon.
12 And the land shall mourn, every family apart; the family of the house of David apart, and their wives apart; the family of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart;
13 The family of the house of Levi apart, and their wives apart; the family of Shimei apart, and their wives apart;
14 All the families that remain, every family apart, and their wives apart.

7 But it shall be one day which shall be known to the Lord, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light.
8 And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be.
9 And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one.
10 All the land shall be turned as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem: and it shall be lifted up, and inhabited in her place, from Benjamin's gate unto the place of the first gate, unto the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel unto the king's winepresses.
11 And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.
12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the Lord will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.
13 And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult from the Lord shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbour.
14 And Judah also shall fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the heathen round about shall be gathered together, gold, and silver, and apparel, in great abundance.
15 And so shall be the plague of the horse, of the mule, of the camel, and of the ass, and of all the beasts that shall be in these tents, as this plague.
16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.

Problem is, that translation is NOT... even close, and you put your stamp of approval on it, and then began to use Scripture to try infer an idea those Scriptures aren't really about.

One must be very... careful on how they use the Joel 2:32 Scripture, particularly that part of, "... for in Mount Zion and Jerusalem there will prove to be the escaped ones, just as Jehovah has said, and in among the survivors..."

Not sure if it was you or not, but that Scripture has been well worn out here by Jews that are falsey being taught to flee to Jerusalem for the tribulation for safety. Your Scripture comparisons point... to that wrong idea.

And the idea there is not escape, but deliverance. For example, the Rev.3 idea of Christ keeping His elect from the "hour of temptation" (tribulation event of the coming pseudo-Christ) does NOT mean physical escape. It means spiritual deliverance from it, not being made subject to the temptation itself, even while others on earth fall to it.

Furthermore, that Joel 2 Scripture of which Peter only... quoted a small portion of on Pentecost, was only as an 'example' for the very end. It was in fact NOT fulfilled on Pentecost, simply because it is for the very end of this world for the tribulation timing.

The KJV "And it shall come to pass" is a more accurate rendering than your New World "And it must occur...".

The idea of "And it shall come to pass" reveals the events just prior to that verse have to occur first, and then having passed. In other words, the Joel 2:32 verse is pointing to Christ's coming to gather His Church that remained faithful by calling on The Name of The LORD. And their deliverance is then TO... Mount Zion in Jerusalem when He brings them there to destroy His enemies on that "great and the terrible day of the LORD".

NO deliverance in... Jerusalem, PRIOR to that timing for Christ's saints.

The issue you raised was that the name Jehovah did not appear in the later part of Joel 2:32, quoting from the King James Bible as saying "whom the Lord shall call" and underlining it. In this case, this has nothing to do with the literal city of Jerusalem, but rather with God's name of Jehovah being there in Joel, which it rightly does.(Joel 2:28-32 had a minor fulfillment in the 1st century with the outpouring of holy spirit and the arrival of the "day of Jehovah" when Jerusalem was destroyed by the Roman armies in 70 C.E., but has a major fulfillment in our time period)


Why does those who feel that they are "Christian" want to shove aside the name Jehovah ? Because what was started as a Jewish superstition has grown to also infect the churches of Christendom, with the Vatican commanding the Catholic bishops conferences: "In recent years the practice has crept in of pronouncing the God of Israel’s proper name.”


The letter gives this pointed direction: “The name of God . . . is neither to be used or pronounced.” Furthermore, “for the translation of the Biblical text in modern languages, . . . the divine tetragrammaton is to be rendered by the equivalent of Adonai/Kyrios: ‘Lord.’” Clearly, this Vatican directive is aimed at eliminating the use of God’s name.


Many have grown up as being called "Christian" but remain unaware of the name of our Creator, Jehovah or has never been taught the meaning of it, its full intensity. Thus has continued the saga of "the Lord says this or that" rather than what the loyal prophets of old said, such as in the book of Jeremiah: "This is what Jehovah, the Giver of the sun for light by day, the statutes of the moon and the stars for light by night, the One stirring up the sea that its waves become boisterous, the One whose name is Jehovah of armies."(Jer 31:35)


Many feel that Jehovah is just "the God of the Jews". Paul though said: "Is he the God of the Jews only ? Is he not also of people of the nations ? Yes, of people of the nations."(Rom 3:29) Those who shy away from knowing the personal name Jehovah (and using it freely) can never come to have an intimate relationship with him.

Oh, okay! Based on ALL those passages and more, Yeshua` (who is YHWH'S Mashiach L-Malakh, Anointed To Reign) will return first to Botsrah (Bozrah) in Edowm because He has a "controversy" with the inhabitants of Edowm. This is where He "stomps them like so many grapes in a wine vat." No other nations join Him in His fight there, and He is disappointed and fights them alone!

Then, He will continue into Y'hudah and visit all the towns of Y'hudah first as He drives out His adversaries who will be in the process of raping and plundering His people, chasing his enemies out of Y'hudah. Then, He will set foot on Har HaZeitiym (the Mount of Olives) and "split" the mountain to form an escape route out of Yerushalayim. In the process, He also resurrects His people, the Isra'elites, from their graves, and they mourn for Him when they see the wounds in His hands, feet and side. They mourn for Him as an only son or as a firstborn son because He IS the descendant of their only son or their firstborn son! (The specific families listed in Zechariah 12 are also listed in Luke 3. They're Yeshua`s ancestors - His KIN!)

In the event of splitting the mountain (or causing a landslide) with the earthquake, He also splits apart the Muslim graveyard planted before the Eastern Gate to provide the escape route. The split in the ground will extend THROUGH the graveyard and open the buried Golden Gate UNDER the current wall which was added later. Wikipedia gives us this information:

The Ottoman Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent sealed off the Golden Gate in 1541. While this may have been purely for defensive reasons, in Jewish tradition, this is the gate through which the Messiah will enter Jerusalem and it is suggested that Suleiman the Magnificent sealed off the Golden Gate to prevent the Messiah's entrance. The Muslims also built a cemetery in front of the gate, in the belief that the precursor to the Messiah, Elijah, would not be able to pass through the Golden Gate and thus the Messiah would not come. This belief was based upon two premises. First, according to Islamic teaching Elijah is a descendant ofAaron, making him a priest or kohen. Secondly, that Jewish priests are not permitted to enter a cemetery. This second premise is not wholly correct because a kohen is permitted to enter a cemetery in which primarily non-Jews are buried such as the one outside the Golden Gate.

This split also forms a path THROUGH the remains of Har HaZeitiym for the river that Yechezk'el (Ezekiel) saw, which is the eastern river that Z'kharyahu (Zechariah) saw flowing to the "former sea," or the sea in front of Yerushalayim, the Dead Sea (i.e., to the east). There will also be a river flowing from Yerushalayim to the "hinder sea" or the "sea behind" Yerushalayim (i.e., to the west), which is the Mediterranean Sea.

Yeshua` will then begin His campaign to route all of the intruders out of Yerushalayim and chase them out of the Northern Gate or the Damascus Gate. According to Yechezk'el's prophecy to the Mountains of Isra'el (which is called the "West Bank" today), the intruders will be driven north and west across the mountains, falling as they flee from the Messiah's onslaught.

This will be their "Waterloo." It is on this plain that the Messenger calls for the birds to come and feast on the remains.

Yeshua` told us (in Matthew 25) that the survivors of this battle, being the representatives for the nations that came to this "World War," will be judged according to how they treated God's people. That will be the war tribunal after the battle is fought. Those who treated Isra'el (as well as any of God's people) kindly would become tributary to the Kingdom over which the Messiah Yeshua` will rule. Those who mistreated Isra'el (or any of God's people) will be shunned by the new King of Isra'el, left to their own doom as God's enemies. They will not THEN be consigned to the Lake of Fire, but they are slated for it! Each "goat" country's people will have to fend for themselves individually if they are going to become part of God's Kingdom, unlike those of a "sheep" country.

Anyway, that's how I see these prophecies being harmonized and fulfilled.
